Protein Rings, Are they Even A THING?

I Received SMARTBONES RawHide Alternative Protein Rings with Real Salmon and Chickpeas as a sample to try with my Pup. She loves RawHide Substitutes, but rarely is fond of biscuits or other treats. However, this little stinker wanted no part to do with these at all and was offered several different times, at several different circumstances, times of day, etc. I soooo wanted this to be a yes for my princess because i believe its a fabulous, healthy alternative, but sadly, it's a HARD NO here.

Stinky, but great

Received these treats as a sample, for leaving a review. Opened them up, & wow, they really stink!! Nova, my cattle dog/chow, thinks they are awesome, stinky or not! Tried the multiple choice selection, putting 4 treats out on floor in a line & had her wait, when I said go, she went to the salmon ring 1st every time. I did this 4 separate times. So although I think these treats smell god awful, apparently, they are friggin awesome to the real consumers, doggies! Buy them, your dog will thank you....but you may want to avoid kisses following their consumption!

Great Texture

We have quite the 'chewer' pup, and he is always trying to get his jaws on anything. We must give him nutritional chews because he is simply constantly doing so, and we want the best for him. We've been purchasing SmartBones for a long time for him, and their Protein Rings in Real Salmon & Chickpeas Dog Treats are the perfect distraction for our chewer. These are made with a lot of salmon protein and chickpeas, and they are very nutritious. They don't take him too long to chew down, but we feel good for the moments that are added to his diet with these chewy rings that are free of harmful additives. We will be buying these for him on the regular. Our pup loves to toss them about before he devours them, so it's great exercise for him, as well.

SmartBones Protein Rings Real Salmon & Chickpeas Dog Treats look delicious! Seriously; when they arrived in the mail, everyone wanted to try them until I told them, they are for dogs. My dog Hercules saw that I had them and got super excited! He sat immediately to earn his treat. He loved the SmartBones Protein Rings Real Salmon & Chickpeas Dog Treats. Later on my other dog came down and she loved them as well. They had no adverse reactions and were super happy with them, so I can definitely recommend SmartBones Protein Rings Real Salmon & Chickpeas Dog Treats!

Must Have For Picky Snackers

Our dogs absolutely loved these treats! They immediately became a favorite in our house. Double win for us because not only did they enjoy chewing on them but they were also packed full of protein and essential nutrients. They were not only suitable for our small Chihuahua but for our German Sheppard as well who enjoyed them equally. I would highly recommend keeping these stocked in your home as an enjoyable treat.

My dogs loved the SmartBones Protein Rings Real Salmon & Chickpeas Dog Treats. I like that they are a better option than rawhides and add some protein to their diet. They were a perfect size and my dachshunds took a little more time than normal to eat the treats. I definitely appreciate that they were a quality product with good ingredients. I will be on the lookout for other products from SmartBones. I received this item in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have 3 doggies that sometimes have very different tastes and needs with food and snacks. After giving them a SmartBones Protein Ring with Real Salmon & Chickpea, they promptly chowed it down and looked at me for more. Green light from the doggies on taste and texture. While I did not necessarily enjoy the strong smell of Salmon, I think it added to the doggies delight with the treats. Giving my dogs quality treats, packed with good ingredients that I can pronounce, is essential to me as a dog owner. And the fact that I found a treat that does not contain chicken, wheat, soy or corn-and my dogs like it, green light for me. I could definitely add these treats to my doggies routine and feel good about it!!

I received a free sample of Smartbones Protein Rings Real Salmon & Chickpeas Dog treats in exchange for my opinion of these for my dogs. The first thing I noticed was the smell. I do not like fishy smells and this definitely smells just like salmon. But my dogs loved it and came running. These are by far their favorite treat! I like that these treats are made with natural ingredients and are made in the USA. My dogs love these and I will definitely get them more.

Love the limited ingredients!

Truthfully, my dog would eat anything that smells like meat, but she has pretty severe skin allergies and is on immunotherapy shots and a special limited protein diet due to them. I was a bit nervous trying these as we are unsure exactly what proteins cause issues but I took a chance and so far after a week, we have had no issues! I love that there is only 6 ingredients because so many companies pack pet foods and treats with junk. I am more than happy to pay a premium price for a quality treat. I will definitely be repurchasing these!

Picky dog approved

I have two dogs, a Cav puppy and a 3 year old golden. The puppy is like most puppies and will eat ANYTHING, but my golden on the other hand is allergic to chicken AND he is picky! So finding treats he likes and is not junk ingredients is really hard, we are elated we found these and that he LOVES these treats. We have the salmon and both dogs absolutely love it. I like the fact they are soft enough to break up for the pup and since she loves them so much we can use this as a high value reward during her training.
