Works great! My cats love it!
By Bengalgirl on Nov 16, 2020
I purchased this several years ago and the cats love it. It has lasted a long time. It was easy to put together and it looks nice. I would definitely purchase another one.

Decent Product
By KNR4 on May 12, 2020
It's not really a cat tree. It's more like a cat jumping and scratching post. My cat can't really lounge on the steps and he doesn't stay on it for long. Plus it starts to come off the door if your cat is like mine and has claws that can pull trees down haha. Still it is decent product.

Cats love it!
By Simcat on Jan 23, 2020
This one's been a hit with the cats. Only critical feedback is that it does bump against the door a little when they jump between platforms, which can make enough noise to wake you when you're sleeping. If that will bother you, don't plan on putting it on a bedroom door or plan to add something to cushion the blows. Putting it together alone was a little awkward, but it'd be easier with two people. The supplier provides an assembly video online that is infinitely more helpful than the cryptic written instructions it comes with.

can't leave 0 stars...
By wendy on Jan 6, 2020
first of all, you have to use this on a closed door, which was not ideal for my situation. the climber had a lot of wobble to it (when pushed toward the door) even when the door was closed. it was exceptionally difficult to assemble by myself. I ended up mounting it to a piece of wood and then mounting that to the wall. upon closer inspection, there doesn't even appear to be enough room on each shelf for the cat to even be able to scale the item.

Has lasted for years with heavy use by big cats
By mth105 on Dec 29, 2019
I paid much more than what this item is now and I would pay double. It saved us in the apartment. I was going to donate it when we moved to a house, but I was told nope and I am glad I kept it because the cats still love it. It has now lasted seven years. It was outside on a covered 3rd floor balcony in TX for over a year. We have six cats use it, all big cats with claws. Often two cats a time. You may need to tie it to the door and put some cardboard behind the center piece, both very simple fixes, even for non-DIYers.

Good price, if your cat will use it
By Sara on Nov 25, 2019
First of all, yes, the instructions that come with it are ridiculous. Watch the video online, it explains everything. Also you do not need 2 people to put it together, I'm not a very handy person and I was able to do it myself using the box it came in to prop up one side while I held the other. So this came together really quick but my cats won't use it. It's just not sturdy enough on a door. I am considering bolting it to a wall as others have done, but if they still don't use it then I will have a bunch of holes in my wall. I love the idea of this and if your cats use it it's way cheaper than a lot of the cat shelf items out there, but my cat who loves to climb just doesn't care for it. And as others have said, the shelves are really oddly staggered, and the one time my cat was on it she couldn't make it to the next shelf. Such a shame this big design flaw wasn't fixed! … more

Good concept, needs improvement.
By CJ551 on Nov 10, 2019
As others have said, it's heavy, not very stable, and the steps aren't offset enough. 1. I assembled this by myself. The directions are very vague but looking at the pieces and holes, it MAY make sense. Assembly is awkward, but the box it comes with is the perfect size to rest one end on while leaning another against you and tightening the bolts with both hands. I can see how this would be difficult for someone to do alone. 2. I have it assembled and I managed to get it on my door...which is great but it still wasn't very stable. I took it down a few days later and re-tightened all of the bolts. It's a bit more sturdy in structure. However it's not sturdy to the door. When my cat jumps on it it still makes this loud sound because it moves so much. Others have bolted it to walls or bookcases...which is a great work around but not the point of this structure. So a bit disappointing. 3. The steps are staggered but it looks very awkward when my cat tries to use them. He still uses them but I can tell it's not with ease. He's not a big cat either, he's only 8 months old. Sometimes I'm worried he's going to fall. Overall, it's a neat concept and a space saver but has room for improvement. I like the idea of it but I may need to buy a bookcase to secure it to. … more

Hard to put together
By Eliz on Dec 7, 2019
When your by your self it is very hard to put together. Upon watching the video I noticed he had a part that screws on and mine just slides which makes it even harder to put together. Very frustrating. Other than that looks like a great thing for cats to have fun on it. Once I can get it together.

My cats love this!
By Jana on Nov 19, 2019
I read reviews on this and a lot of critics saying no way would cats use this. Well my cats absolutely love it. We have now put up two of them. I definitely recommend this if you don't have room for a big cat tree.
