  • My cats love this toy

    By on

I had had a similar toy a long time ago that my cats loved. I've been looking all over the place for one to replace it as it went missing. This is a favorite toy for one of my cats in particular and I am so glad I was able to find this product to replace the missing one.

Almost as good as the old "toughie mouse" used to be able to get years ago.

  • Fell apart too easily...

    By on Top 50 Contributor

At first, our two cats seemed to like the toy okay, but almost right away, the toy began coming apart in their mouths. The little bits was too easy to swallow, so I had to throw the toy away. It was a waste of $.

  • It would be better if it were smaller.

    By on

I think it's a little too big. I used to buy eraser mice that were much smaller and the cats loved them. The other mice were about 1/2" long for the body and then had a tail attached.

  • Cuteness to Catch, Claw, and Kill

    By on Top 100 Contributor

I was surprised that these cute little mice are so tiny (approx. 2 1/2"x1"), but good things must come in small packages as my kitty took to them immediately. She liked them so well that she held one in her mouth and growled at me when I came near. She even pulls these into her quilted sleep teepee to keep them extra close. They have survived the rough play and many kills and still look like new. My kitty highly recommends these mice.

  • One of those SHOULD I or......

This is one of those toys that you say to yourself.."ok...I KNOW at least ONE of them will LIKE this for MORE than 10 minutes"....suuuuurvey SAYS: X! I must thank my picky kids....they are truly teaching me to follow my initial feelings about ANYTHING concerning them...even TOYS! I must admit that when I feel that they WILL react to something positively....maaybe I should reconsider that thought and listen more closely to my "gut feeling". I was kinda "on the fence" for more than a minute, and then decided to try them, thinking "ANYTHING with a TAIL or LOOKS like a mouse they LIKE"! BUT, the concept of the "eraser" did kinda make me pause. I have never known them to play with "erasers" nor did This is one of those toys that you say to yourself.."ok...I KNOW at least ONE of them will LIKE this for MORE than 10 minutes"....suuuuurvey SAYS: X! BUT, the concept of the "eraser" did kinda make me pause. I have never known them to play with "erasers" nor did I know that an eraser was something appealing to them. I've had cats since my college days at UC Davis, won't say how long ago that was...lol I have learned that cats like to play with everything BUT the millions of their daily VISIBLE TOYS! Simple things like knocking misc. things to a floor, like bottle caps, or stealing straws from a drink. Now, I intentionally put these things on the floor...and they DO hold their we all know extremely SHORT attention spans! I am becoming truly frugal, and not spending even over $1 on anything that may be a perspective liked toy! One way to extend or create a liked or non-liked toy is to let it marinate in CATNIP! So..."FILM at 11...." about these...I will give results! … more

My tuxedo cat's absolute favorite toy. She has a whole family of them, and recommends them highly to any other tuxedo, or feline.

  • Nice alternative throw toy

    By on

My cat really enjoys leaping up in the air to catch these little "eraser" mice and then batting them around. They are good and sturdy and the eraser material gives them a great little bounce that she really likes. (I would NOT recommend holding on to the tail when playing with your cat, however as it is way too short and you'll likely get clawed!)
