  • Amazing quality for the price

When I saw the $12 price tag I expected a wood like plastic. This seems to be real wood! The balls on the other hand or too light. Unfortunately, my cat is not interested in it at all. She is a three-year-old indoor cat so I assume she would go a little bananas over seeing anything to play with. On the other hand, my daughter's kitten is coming down this weekend so we'll see if he likes it :-) Not a complete disappointment because she plays with the balls outside the box. I could have saved a little money and just bought some puffy toy balls. Not for my cat but maybe yours :-)

  • Not challenging enough

This toy was great, for the first few minutes. It took less than 2 minutes for my cat to figure out how to get the first ball out of the side hole. After that, she got the other ball out, right away. To improve the design: make the holes on the sides much smaller, put closeable sliding doors on the holes, or remove side holes - all together.

  • Two Paws and Two Thumbs Up!!

Toys and kibble make this Peek & Play Toy Box a Huge WINNER!! Stimulating for them and fun for me to watch the boys figure out how to get the toys and/or kibble out of the box (even when they have easier access to kibble in their slow feeder!!) Sturdy construction assures me this toy will be a part of the scene for B.B. and Hawkeye for years to come!!

  • No interest, rough edges

    By on

My three cats have zero interest in the box. One of my cats likes the balls by themselves which can be purchased separately. The edges of every hole are very rough and scratched my hand when getting the balls out, so I don't really want my cats to play with it and get hurt.

  • Countryside

I basically paid $16 for a wood box with holes to sit on my floor. The only way to get any of my cats to even look at it was to keep putting treats inside. One cat did like the rainbow balls that came w/box but balls are so small, they disappeared.

  • Simply genius!

Better quality than I expected - the wood is a nice weight & there are no sharp edges anywhere! ... I wanted this to stimulate my very curious, intelligent boys & wow, does it do the job! They LOVE it!

  • Well made, solid wood

    By on

My cat plays with this toy off/On, more if I put treats in it. It's very well made and is actually kinda heavy, my cat doesn't push it all over the floor. The balls are lightweight and bounce around inside the toy well.

  • Waste of money

    By on

The stupidest toy I have wasted my coin on as of lately. I try different things, that I think she might enjoy, but this by far was a joke. Made well, but the balls just slide out the side of the box. More work for me. Just keep putting them back in. She's bored, I'm tired.

  • Frown not really that great sadly

    By on

I have three cats and they only played with this Smart cat peek & play toybox the first five days after I purchased it for them. After that they lost interest very quickly and now it is collecting dust. The idea of this is quite interesting however it definitely need something to capture the cats attention and keep it in order for this product to be a great seller. Unless I’m sitting there playing and flicking the balls inside the holes they don’t want play with it.

  • particularly like the look

    By on

Unlike most cat toys that are made of obnoxiously bright colored plastic, the natural color wood on this item makes it much more attractive. I don't feel the need to put it away to make my living room look neat. Yes the balls come out, but that's the point - this toy is meant for the cats to be able to get things out. If you don't want to be constantly putting toys back in, then you should get a different type where the ball is permanently trapped inside. Both cats are happily playing with it!
