  • Works really well

I bought this to teach my cats to stay off of the countertops in my kitchen. I put them on yesterday and the cats jumped up twice, but I haven’t seen them do it again since which is a HUGE improvement because they were up there Constantly before, knocking over all of our things and stealing our food.

  • Cheap and it shows

I have been a long time whisker city cat tape user but now they have discontinued it, so I’ve been trying other brands. This brand was a great disappointment! It is very thin and if lightly touched it removes from the surface it’s placed on. Pretty much all the tape has failed within a few days. Don’t waste your money.

  • Be careful

    By on

I thought this was a great idea! Then I read that it could cause serious illness or even death if ingested. I put it on a sofa cushion once, but I don't know if it worked or not. I worried that, instead of deterring my cat, it might stick to her paw and she'd eat some of it while trying to get it off. So I've contrived other deterrents instead.

  • Works beautifully!

This is my favorite kind of Sticky Paws tape. It’s economical, very easy to apply and it works! Saving my upholstered furniture from kitten claws.

  • Absolutely terrible

    By on

This product is horrible. It will not stick to ANY of my furniture - the thing it's specifically made to stick to! Completely worthless, waste of money. Do not buy this product.

  • Double sided tape

    By on

This is just wide, double sided tape. Make sure your furniture is the same color as your cat, or you’ll end up with lots of orange fur on the sides of your white couch. The strips are very noticeable when they are covered in fur.

  • Tape works

Seems to work! My cat hasn't bothered the chair. I haven't removed the tape to see if it comes off easy yet.

  • Helpful, but not great

    By on

The tape is really thin, and requires a bit of effort to get it to stick to mattresses or upholstery. It fell off the couch constantly, so I went through the whole roll in a little over a week. I could see this working on curtains or other areas, but for upholstery or mattresses, regular double sided tape might work better.

  • Works Great

I put it where they were scratching and it worked. They kind of looked at me like, "What the heck mom?" Then walked away. I am hoping i will be able to take it off after a while and they won't bother my furniture anymore.

  • Very good product that works

My old sofa was shredded by my gang of four. Declaw is a no-no option in my house. But I was embarrassed to have anyone over with my slip covered furniture. So, I bought new living room furniture, a squirt bottle and some Sticky Paws (both roll and strips). It WORKS! They hate the feel of the sticky to their paws they now almost run far away from the furniture - no squirt bottle needed :) Now it is true, that even though the double sided tape is a clear tape, you are going to be able to see that yes there is clear tape there. It pulls off very easy and applying it is easy as well, and seems to last about as long as you want it to last. I'm hoping that by leaving Sticky Paws around for a good long while they will "learn" not to scratch furniture. But a cats gonna do what a cat wants to do! In the meantime, my new furniture is safe at least. … more
