Money well spent!!!
The rescue I volunteer for uses this to help stimulate some of the cats there. I seen how well it worked for them so I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. I sprayed several of their toys that they have had for awhile and they went crazy. The scent seems to last for 4-5 days before it needs refreshing. I would recommend this product and I will definitely be ordering more.
Terrible Catnip
I have never seen a catnip spray (or any catnip product) work so badly. My cats were not interested in the least. I had just purchased a cat tree and wanted them to get used to scratching on it as opposed to the furniture. I sprayed it on and waited. The cats looked at me because they were expecting a wonderful experience and nothing. I had to spray on half the bottle before they even noticed a smell. I usually use a different product, but couldn't find it on Chewy, so I guess i will go to the local pet shop and try to find something. Very disappointed.
Awesome spray!
I ordered this product because I know that some of these can be gimmicky or they just flat out don't work but, this spray is amazing. Obviously, not all cats like cat nip and my older cat isn't normally a fan but they love this stuff and I will absolutely be buying more of this soon! Great product and I recommend trying this if you have cats that like cat nip or silvervine! 10/10
catnip spray
I was hoping to redirect my wild kittens to the appropriate places to scratch (the scratching post and scratching boxes) but their interest only lasted about 5 minutes before returning to scratching the rugs and door frames.
Short lifespan
I sprayed this on a blanket to test it out with my 9 month old kitten. I let her smell the bottle first then showed her the blanket. She rolled around on it for about 5 mins then had enough. I either didn't spay enough or she lost interest. For the price it is worth a shot. Probably will just stick with regular cat nip. But fun to try!
It seems to work !!
I recently adopted a Maine Coon female. She is approx 2 y/o. To help her settle in I noticed she liked CatNip. Bought this, sprayed it on a few toys, she had a very good time. She is a Calico Maine Coon named Rosie. I recently lost two kitties to bad health problems, she is helping heal my heart.
Love this spray
I use this with actual Catnip and the cats love it. I was afraid they were kind of over it, but I got another bottle and they come running when they hear it. I use it on cardboard scratchers and toys.
Doesnt seem to work
This doesnt seem to work with my cat. My cat loves catnip but he isnt interested in anything I spray with this versus with the dried nip he is.
I'm not convinced this really has catnip in it
Gizmo usually goes WILD when he gets even a whiff of catnip but if I spray it on a toy for him, not only does he NOT go into his catnip play-frenzy, he won't go near the toy at all. Don't buy this.
