chitter mechanism didn’t work

This is a cute toy and my kitten played with it for a minute but the chirping mechanism didnt work at all. I even dissected the toy to try to activate the chirp and it was a dud. I find this a lot with smarty Kat electric items. My bad for thinking this would be an exception.

Loved it! Want another!

Both my feline babies loved this squirrel toy! Unfortunately I stepped on it and it doesn't make sound anymore. I need to order a new one.

My Jack Russell tried to "steal" this toy from my daughters cat. She loved it so much I had to locate it and buy it for her, I also bought her a backup just in case!

My babies love this toy!

I have a small dog mixed chihuahua & he had the first one when he was a puppy & loved it funny the sound made my husband annoyed haha. I love it. Now we have 2 my kitten loves it! I had to buy another & id love to replace the battery but I'll just keep buying them they are so cute! Pets love them!

Love this squeaky squirrel thing

This is a really fun toy. Mom sprays it with catnip and we chase it all over the room. Throwing it up in the air, it chitters and it’s so much fun.

Not Sure about This One

First and foremost, I think this is too large for our cats. They like something they can toss around. I think 1/3 of the size would be more suited to the average cat. Second, I'm not sure if the battery is almost dead or this is the way it's supposed to sound. Sometimes it makes noise, sometimes not. Sometimes it just sounds a little sick. I would contact Chewy and I'm sure they would take care of that, but because of the size I don't think I'll bother. That one is on me because I could have looked at the dimensions.

My cats favorite toy

We had gotten my cat this when we first got her..... 14 months later, she STILL carries it all over with her. I feel I'm going to need a bunch more for when she destroys this one!!

Disappointed

I have had this toy previously for my other cats, and they seemed to like it very well. Had great sound, they carried it around etc. So I decided to buy another for our porchies. The male likes to carry toys out to his catio encloser and since I "thought "this would spark curiosity and he would love its chitter sound, I bought it. Wow, was I disappointed. Very little sound what-so-ever after removing the activation tab. You really have to listen to hear it !! And the previous one, you just barely touch it and it made its chitter sound. This one, you have to literally hit it for it to make tiny sounds. I probably received a dud, but IMO its not that cheap of toy and when you need plenty of toys for enriching them this purchase was very disappointing !

excellent for small pups

My Shih Tzu and my foster pups love this little chitter toy. The cats haven’t messed with it but the dogs are craZy about it! It makes a nice noise that is very mild and easily ignored. Not offensive at all.

Best ever toy for pup or kitty

I know this is a cat toy but my pup loves this ! she has stolen it from my cat and will not let her have it back !!!
