cute, but not the most engaging
my cats enjoy the sound, but not big on independent play. however they do use it once in a while. it's also a nice way to hide a treat or kibble for them to find and use their brain/senses.
Favorite toy
One of our cats adores this toy. He loves pouncing on it and sometimes even just hanging out underneath it!
Something's fishy about this, it's Boring!
Looked cute on Chewy website, but it's just kind of a plastic mat - cat sat on it, left and never returned. Didn't even try to play with the fish. Boring!
Loves sleeping on it
My kitty loves this, but not really to play on. She loves to sniff it intensely for a while, then sleep on it. Also pretty sure I saw pot roast in the pics of this so great to know my Leia and Pot Roast like their crinkle mats
Crinkle Fun
My cats are having a blast playing with this crinkle mat! It's been a favorite with the kittens and my older cats, and it's large too. I think it's 12x12 and the fish attached to it has all the cats trying to yank it off, but it is firmly attached. One of my cats favorite toys so far, all 10 of them...lol.

As soon as I opened the Chewy box, Fuzz Aldrin was at attention. I grabbed the fuzzy crinkly fish mat and began to remove the packaging, and Fuzz's nose was already all up in it. He tried to paw it from my hands, then twirled in a circle, and sniffed some more. I didn't even get the crinkle mat to the floor; Fuzz attacked it on the bed, and proudly declared it his as he licked, bit, pawed, and gnawed at the poor fishie. He rubbed his nose in and pawed at the seaweed, while still clamping his jaws on fishie boii. Now he's sleeping on the crinkle mat, likely resting before Round Two.
Something Different
I have had snuffle mats in the past for dogs, but hadnt seen anything like this mat for cats. Like other reviewers mention, it could be bigger. Despite that, it has been something new and fun my kitty enjoys.
Won’t get off if it!
At first I had no idea what it was but once my cat got on it, he won’t leave it except to eat. I have it sitting on a short box and he spends 60% of his time on the mat. If it slides off the box, he will contort his body just so he’s still able to lie on it. Don’t understand it but it’s a hit!!
What is it supposed to do?
After opening this item, I immediately regretted my purchase. It's just string attached to a crinkle sheet. It might be okay for a new kitten however it has catnip so I can not recommend for new kittens.
