Not a great toy
2 stars because technically it isn't broken. The stick/feather isn't long enough. It gets no where near the edge for the cat to see. As soon as they start playing with it a scary clacking sound happens and they run off. The stick screws on but very quickly screws itself off after a couple spins around the base. The cloth also comes off so easily the cats just look bored after 2 seconds. Ive owned similar items in the past that are much better made. Do not recommend at all.
Awesome
Has two speeds! Our 13 year old cat stopped playing with fish-pole toys but would grab the stick, so thought we would try this. It's prefect. It's a little loud when he grabs the moving part, but it does not scare him. He even attacks when it is not on. There was no need for treats, he just started to pounce. Plays with it every day. It does take a little to get into it, so for a new cat I would let it run 5 mins or so to let them be enticed. Really happy to find something to keep him moving.
Puuurrrrrfect Present
I have three lovelies, the queen and her two girls. Even though they're not kittens anymore (5 & 3 yrs) they played with this like they were! My grandaughter picked this out as a present when I was making my order. I gave her a set amount to spend and this is what she chose they love it! I keeps them stimulated for a long while. They get to brush up on skills they cant really use and exercise its worth it and a great price too.
Cat enjoys, can be loud and arm comes off frequently
My cat loves this thing. She'll sit by it and look at me until I turn it on. It's been a couple weeks and so far has held up pretty well both to zoomies and pouncing from the seat of a chair. As others have mentioned, it's really loud when the motion of the arm is stopped by the cat or an object. The other thing I've found is every day or two I have to screw the arm back on. It seems to be coming off in the course of daily use and not that the cat is pulling it off. I wish you could set it to automatically turn on when you're gone.
This is amazing!
Our kitten has been playing with this for almost a month, every day. Batteries seem to last about one week with it running several times each day. Whoever designed this toy really knows what cats like. The skirt that covers the arm and feather has a small open area that really intrigues the cat. After a while the toy turns off. The best cat toy we have ever had.
Stopped Working After First Use
So disappointing!!! My cat loved it. When I brought it back out the next day, it no longer worked. The center piece that rotates the toy would not move anymore on the lowest setting, and only moved back and forth an inch on highest setting. And my cat hadn't even played rough! She occasionally stopped the toy from moving, but one would think it would be built with that in mind...

10-month-old kitten likes it so I'm happy. Cons: -It could be a little faster. -it occasionally stops moving and lights up. -the mat gets caught by the wand and gets tangled up. -it makes a loud grounding sound when she catches it. -doesn't work as well on carpet
My cat loves this toy! But there are some issues!
I like the idea of this cat toy, however it's noisy, and the attached feathered piece comes unscrewed every few minutes, my energetic male cats frequently tips it over. Batteries died after 1 day (energizer). I will try to hot glue the attachment, not sure how to prevent it from being flipped over or the fast use of the batteries..
Just ok
My cat was somewhat interested, but would lose interest when it stopped and did the flashy thing. That feature is kind of annoying. He finally played with it for about 2 minutes and then just walked away. He's a 3 year old Maine coon mix and I guess his just a little lazy.
Waste of money!
I was really hoping this toy was going to be as good as the reviews claimed. The fabric that goes over the revolving toy was so big you couldn't see the toy. It didn't move around like it described, it would just jerk back and forth a little then stop. Complete waste of money!
