    Great attention getter for cats.

Love this one. Was nervous when buying it because I had a previous one from somewhere else and it sounded like a washing machine running. It also didn't have anything at the end of it but a little rubber hose. This one is not loud. Has lights that go off which gets their attention. Has a toy at the end Love this one. (Don't leave it on constantly, batteries run down)Take it up and put it back down later so they don't get bored. Kittens on the other hand will never get bored.lol … more

    Mehhhhhhhh

Our 11 yr old cat had some health issues and needed something to help her stay active. She was once a top mouser on our 22 acre homestead. So, I thought it was a great deal, great concept. Fast forward to 2021- our Nola passed over that rainbow bridge, and we adopted a 12 week old kitten, Lu Lu. And now I'm seeing why my youngest daughter complained about this toy. It's a great concept, however, it didn't transfer over when they designed the actual toy, and here's why: the "mouse" doesn't move around the circle cloth with its tail out. The cat playing with this can barely see it. And when it does, it of course whacks its paw or pounces on said mouse. And that's when the annoying noise starts!! It gets the mouse/machine "stuck" until kitty releases it, or it's about to switch directions. It's just REALLY dumb. And if they had just extended the arm/brace a few inches or added a support, it would swing the cutely designed little tail you hardly ever see out so kitty could actually chase after it!! And the cloth that drapes over it, while cute and removable/washable, comes off SO easily. I have a 13 week old kitten who's played with a few times in just the first week of being here, and she knows she can claw it and yank it off the base, so that's pretty dumb too. I mean, $11 is a good deal from the retail $29.99 so if you think risking it and not trusting negative reviews is worth it, at least it's not a huge investment. Just saying, I buy my menagerie of lovable critters A LOT from Chewy, and this item is just really kinda mehhhhhh … more
