For the price this item isn't horrible. I do wish it was just a tiny bigger. My cat can lay down on a ball but cannot stretch out so that's the only downfall. Overall it's cute and my cat loves the toy it comes with.
Piece Of Garbage

Don't buy. Doesn't stay down at all, even with the suggestion of cardboard used in the base. Cats who play a lot and run into their hiding places, this teepee will just collapse in on them. Waste of money.
Great Concept, Weak Construction

I was so excited when I saw this teepee on Chewy. A local petstore had some on display last year, but they sold out in less than a day.
The cats liked the look of this, but the thin nylon fabric (not ripstop), and weak construction were not a good fit for us. Admittedly, my male cat is a chewer. That said, this took longer to assemble than it lasted, and it was not at all difficult to assemble.
He is still chewing what is left of the poles, though, so he's getting some use out of it. His sister only got about 20 seconds, though.
This Tent Toppled
on Sep 1, 2018
Within 2 minutes of having it out of the box, and before even getting it set up, it started falling apart.
There are a bundle of "sticks" that are supposed to stick out of the top of the tent and then hold the legs of the tent in place but the bundle of sticks was held together by the smallest little piece of string, and as soon as I started attaching the legs of the tent to it, the string came undone and the bundle fell apart, so the tent has no structure and doesn't stand up.
Yeah, I'm sure I can get a longer string and rig/fix it myself but why should I have to?
Fun concept but not well thought out in the manufacturing department
Cute tent, needs support

This is made of a nylon "tent" like material. I think if it had been made of a canvas type of material it would be more sturdy and less likely to "wander" across the room. I did have to place a cardboard base in it to keep it from folding up like other reviewers mentioned. The cats are still figuring it out. I give them a few weeks before one decides it will be their new best toy. I think a square kitty bed would work well inside to keep it in it's shape but I can't find a 16" square mat, pad or bed. Will probably end up making one myself or folding up a towel.
Very cute tee pee

My cats live these teepees (I bought 3). Our biggest baby had some issues with his but it doesn’t stop him from enjoying it. They are very lightweight so I put a blanket on the bottom.
This is pretty much useless..

First of all, it's a very cheap material and won't stay open. I put an empty heavy perfume bottle at the top to keep it open and not falling all over itself. I would not recommend.

I didn't buy it for an animal, I bought it for dolls. But I don't think I'd give this to my pet. If the legs were weighted or if there was a board/pillow situation at the bottom to keep it stable, it would be a lot better. Otherwise it's going to collapse if they dare to roll around in there. But for the price, you can totally stick some cardboard in there if you wish. And the sewing construction is good and strong. BTW, this is not canvas. Which is probably a good thing for animal people.
Cute But Not Worth It

It's cute and I like the concept but it's poorly constructed. If it had something to support the base then it'd definitely be a better buy.
This Teepee Was A Huge Success!

Both of my cats loved this teepee! I read reviews that suggested putting cardboard in the bottom and that is a must! I'll let this pictures speak for itself....
