Attracts the cats

We have new furniture. The cats were occasionally scratching it and I wanted to keep it from getting worse. I bought the SmartyKat spray at a local store. It actually had the opposite effect. It attracted the cats and caused them to scratch even more! Not at all happy with this product. If you are wondering if this is the product for you, I advise against it.

Big pro is that it doesn't smell super bad just strong. But didn't do anything the help with the scratching have tried it several times in different houses and different furniture. It helped at first for like 20 seconds when she wasn't sure what the smell was a first. Defiantly won't be buying again.

the products pump was not functional so I had to pour some of the product into another dispenser. Once I sprayed it on my sofa it did not deter my cat from scratching. I would not recommend this product

It did not stop my cats from scratching. They continued to scratch. It maybe worked for a couple minutes after spraying but that’s it.

So I finally got a new otterman, rug, and couch and wanted to make sure they all didn't become new scratching posts. So far it has done nothing to stop my cats from scratching everything. I will keep spraying to see if it eventually helps but if it doesn't I will have to try something else

First off, the spray bottle leaks sends out gets all over your hands after 2 spays (probably just a flaw in my pump, but still my experience). Second of all, my cat LOVES it! He loves the smell and has also started chewing on my chair instead of just scratching it. Definitely did NOT work for me.

I have a cat that likes to scratch my furniture. I sprayed my furniture with this spray and it didn't seem to bother my cat at all, still pull at the furniture.

This product hasn’t lived up to it’s name. It worked the first time used but since then has not seemed to faze our cat.
