Maybe Great for Kittens
I wanted a wave scratcher that wasn't made of corrugated cardboard because my cat loves wave scratchers, but the cardboard makes a mess. This was a good solution! ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Our other cat got interested in a wave scratcher for the very first time and started playing with this straight out of the box. The one I bought this for was much more interested in the box at first. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Only complaint is that it's smaller than expected. A full size cat is too big to lounge or stretch on this thing. My cats are medium-large, not the tiniest, but in the average range. This scratcher seems like it was really made with smaller cats in mind.
So Simple, Yet SO Loved!
We bought this for our two kittens, Atlas and Lily, after reading the reviews. I wasn't sure if they'd be a fan of it when it arrived, but they absolutely love it! Lily loves to bat at the feather and sleep under the curl, while her brother Atlas loves to lay in the curl. They are 3.3 lbs and 4 lbs at 3 months old, so it will be interesting to see how they interact with it as they get bigger. Definitely recommend for kittens! Great price at $15, too!
She loves this scratcher
My cat loves this scratcher and sits in it and scratches the carpet. It’s light so she pushes it around. I wish it was heavier and didn’t move but I would definitely buy it again. It has saved my leather sofa from scratches.
I like it. The girls, not so much.
I got this to try to replace the corrugated shred boxes because the quality of the refills has been so poor I have to vacuum every couple of hours because the shreds are like Christmas tree pine needles. They're everywhere!!! The girls don't mind it. They don't play with it or in it as much as they do sleep on the shred box, shred on the shred box, coast around the room on the shred box. They like to run and dive on the box and slide on it, so it's a little more multi-functional I guess. What I like is that this new thing does leave little shreds all over everywhere. Maybe if this had been their first shred toy they'd like it more?
Having a great time!
This is one of the better scratch pad, it's low to the ground it doesn't fall apart with the first scratch it doesn't have pieces of cardboard scatter thru out my house. I have 23 rescued cats inside my house so one can imagine how often this is being used. My neighbor told me he needed a scratcher low to the ground for one of his cats who has short legs and I showed him my three scratcher he said that I looked for thru Chewy but he could find it so I looked again and found this cat scratcher under toys we were lucky because they were on sale for $ 15.00 normally sales for $ 33.00 so I order him and at that price I order myself a new one too.
It’s his favorite scratcher, he loves the carpet part and standing all over it to scratch. Thinking about buying another one since he loves the first one so much. The feather is a nice addition as well and is played with from time to time.
My cat is OBSESSED -- her FAVORITE thing I've ever gotten her
The second I put this down, my cat was all over it. She loves to get into all kinds of positions on it; she will sit on it or form to the bump or lay in the crease. She loves to play with the feather toy and will attack it at random (she prefers feather toys so that might be a factor). She uses the scratcher often which has helped dull her nails and she uses it as furniture for a decent chunk of the day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. I have messaged all my friends and family with cats to buy this and am only writing this review because I want to help cat owners buy something that has brought so much happiness to mine. Don't hesitate; it's been worth every penny for me
One of my cats is not very interested, the other kitten seems to like it. But if you have a playful, jumpy cat, the scratcher is not too steady to stand on. It was knocked over and he fell many times. The scratcher itself is well-made and good quality.
don't like the grey.
Cats do not interact with it alot. Staple show. But that's okay. Cats like to sit on it sometimes. Good price for it. I would recommend because of the price. Kittens would do well with it.
Needs some tweaking!
It’s not unusual for our cats to play with the box more than the toys that come inside it! Two of our five loved this one but I have some suggestions for improvement: • If possible, glue feathers in better or at least make that piece removable so the empty plastic cap can be thrown away. It took less than three days for the two who loved it to have all of the feathers torn out. • Create various replacement pieces for those who want to purchase them to keep their cats interested once the feathers are gone. Offer options other than feathers as well please. • Make them heavier so they don’t tip over so easily. Our kitten weighs just a couple of pounds and tips it over all the time. My cats said they’d gladly test any updates you make. Well, actually they said “Bring it!” but I told them that wasn’t very nice. They reminded me they’re cats and it isn’t their job to be nice! Touché!!
