She likes it!!
Bought this for my semi-ferral barn cat when she moved to garage space a bit ago. In the barn she clawed the wood posts. New digs and she was going after the tires on my vehicle! So I bought this post hoping she would use it instead. It seemed similar to the wood posts so hoped it would please her. And she loves it! No more attacking the tires! And the feather toy, well that she will bat around sometimes. And then do more work on the post. I put a couple small bricks on the base to help weight it down. Not sure it made much difference, but now she doesn't move it around on the floor. I now have a happier cat.
Only lasted 3 weeks
Disappointed in the quality of this. She ripped it apart within 3 weeks and she is a tiny cat only weighs 5.5 lbs. Very poorly made.
Cats Don't Use
This scratching post is different from the others I have scattered around the house. My two cats won't use it and I'm not sure why. It is shorter and thinner than their other posts.

This is completely torn apart a little over a month after receipt. Total piece of garbage.

So easy to put together. My cat really enjoys it. So far, the rope has not started shredding like the posts with twine.
Very small
I should have read more about this before ordering. It would be great for a kitten, but too small for grown cats. While my biggest cat likes it, I know he’s going to knock it over often. The base is narrow and covered w/ very cheap fabric. It won’t last long at my house.
Scratching post
My 15 year old cat loves it. He has to have a scratching post, he does not stay outside.
Well made scratching post
Boots is a Maine coon, so she did tip it over, but I tucked the corner under a chair and fixed that issue. She enjoys scratching and this one seems better made than the one I am replacing.
