Bigger is Better
I bought this to put around the litter box because I've never had cats that are such slobs in the litter box. Even though they aren't really large cats, the large cement mixing pan wasn't enough for the boys so I replaced it with the extra large (36x24x8) and put this around it to catch all the litter that they throw around. I have a throw rug in front of the litter that I may replace with another one of these mats.
Exceed expectations
We have a large litter box and this litter mat works great! It must feel good on the cats paws, because our cats rub their paws on it each time, which has decreased the amount of cat litter throughout the house. I like the large size I ordered; I recommend getting a large mat!

Good quality. actually use this for dog feed bowls and water. Works great for keeping floor clean.

Not as Advertised
1) the mat says Alpha Paws instead of the cute little Cat logo 2) the sizes are wrong. the XL measures 47 x 33" its huge 3) Has an odor to it that the other 3 mats of different brands don't have Overall, if bought in store I wouldn't have selected
Didn't work like I hoped
My one cat must have some kind of litter holders on his feet, even with this mat, he tracks litter everywhere. I really hoped that this mat would help, but it didn't.
Proceed directly to the dumpster.
I purchased this exact same product from the actual "Smiling Paws" company a while back with absolutely no complaints whatsoever. This time, however has been a huge waste of time and money. I have waited MONTHS for this to be "back in stock" because I knew how "great" it was going to be. Yeah right. This is pathetic! I haven't even used it a month and it's already torn with holes in it! DO NOT BUY THIS LITTER MAT! The "Alpha Paw" is absolute garbage.
Litter Mat
I ordered the large mat and it was larger than I thought it would be. Actually I was so glad I did because it has been very adequate at catching the litter. It is easy to vacuum or just shake off. The rubber backing on the mat keeps it in place. I am very happy with the purchase of Smiling Paws litter mat.
Not As Advertised
Unfortunately, when we received this mat it did not have the cute little black cat in the corner - the reason we ordered it. Instead it said “Alpha Pets” in big letters. I contacted Chewy about this and they sent a new one. The new one was the same thing, so I was refunded for the item. Be careful when ordering.
Great cat litter mat
We received the mat within a day of ordering. Super quick shipping and delivery! My mat was a perfect size and fits perfectly in my cat’s litter box space. Less litter on the carpet already! Plus it’s super cute!
