    A LOT OF SNACKS!

By AvasMom on Jan 13, 2021

Each square contained an individually wrapped snack bag with 3 or more (often 5) snack pieces, some in different shapes like squares or a fish; this contained a lot more snacks than I thought it would. I thought it was just 1 snack per day and contemplated getting 2 of them because I have 2 cats. I'm glad I didn't as it would have been too much. One of my cats liked it ok (he preferred his regular snack over this) and my other cat wanted nothing to do with it at all. All the snacks were the same flavor mix (salmon and seaweed). This would be better if there were an assortment of snack flavors that were rotated throughout the calendar on different days.

Cat with sensitive stomach LOVES these treats

By catlady on Dec 9, 2020

My cat is obsessed with these treats. We got the advent calendar from a friend and had to order a second one since I don’t know what we will do when we run out. Our kitty starts crying the second he sees me reaching for the advent calendar because I can’t open it fast enough. There are always between 3-5 treats everyday and we do only give him a few, so we will have plenty left over as well. Our kitty has a very sensitive stomach (and over-protective parents) and we are very cautious about what we give him. These treats seem just fine on his tummy and don’t cause any issues. These are the first salmon-based treats we have tried. We never give him human food but he has always loved the smell My cat is obsessed with these treats. I can’t wait for Snif-Snax to launch a regular line of cat treats. I don’t have a dog, but I’ve been telling everyone who has a dog to check out their treats! Also, I really like that the company seems to have a genuine interest in creating quality treats for pets and promotes animal welfare. I cannot recommend these enough! … more

VERY hard and very large pieces

    By T1234 on Dec 29, 2020

These were so hard, you could probably hammer in a nail with it. The pieces themselves are also huge. One of my 3 cats ate one and wouldn't even sniff any of them anymore and found that playing with it was better. This is pretty disappointing considering that the ingredients and nutrients are great for them. Don't waste your money on it nor on the Trader Joe's version, same issue, ingredients, and presentation.

    did not like

By katmat on Jan 12, 2021

all the treats inside were the same, except for different shapes. My cat did not eat 1, just walked away. Plus the treats were hard as bricks, they seemed stale. The idea of the advent calendar was cute that is why I ordered it but I will never order it again.

Love it. Will be buying many for next Christmas!

By Wren on Jan 4, 2021

I bought this for my daughters cat. She loved it. There were so many treats daily. She had to hide it from her cat because she would try and open it before the day. One day she even found it and open a few days all on her own. A big hit. All family cats will be getting it next year!

Ended up giving them to the dog

By EchoLynx on Jan 25, 2021

Neither of my cats would eat these. My chunky tabby tried one then wouldn’t eat any more. I ended up feeding some to my dog who will eat just about anything so these didn’t just go to waste.

Good idea, but not a good product

By Nicole on Dec 11, 2020

It was a really good idea, super cute box, we were all excited. However the treats inside were really bad. They were so hard, that I couldn’t even break them, less let my cats chew the treats. Not only that, but the treats were super ugly, they were dark brown blobs. My cats didn’t eat them, so it was a huge waste of money and a big let down.

    Cats didn't like it.

By FolkloreDogs on Dec 4, 2020

Bought the advent calendar because it was something cute to do with my cats (2). The numbers were all over the place, and the treats inside were supposed to be salmon and seaweed. There was no enticing smell, and hard as a rock. My 12yr girl could never eat them and neither could my 9yr boy. They both just walked away. Surprising for Chewy, never had a problem before.

Hard for Some Cats to Eat

By replacement on Jan 7, 2021

I was disappointed that each day had the same treats which were too chewy for my cat to eat, even when trying to cut them up. I imagine this would be great for many cats, though, as she was definitely interested in them.

    Very sad treats ever

    By Ocean009 on Dec 5, 2020

I thought these treats would be a fun Christmas season idea. But Just on the 2nd day, our cat has no interest in that treats. we gave up the treats and gave our cat regular treats instead. I guess that when our cat got the 1st-day treats, he ate it, but it looked very hard to chew, and all looked the same shapes. No fun at all. I won't buy it again.
