Does the hood have anything in it to keep it open? Some of the reviewers said that the hood flops down.

The exterior of this Pet Bed is made of durable polyester-cotton exterior and is machine washable.
Can you dry this in the dryer?

You can dry the cover only in the dryer on low heat or no heat. You will need to remove the tubing prior to washing the cover. There is a small slit in the fur about an inch up from where the hood meets the bed. It is typically on the left side, but may be on the right. You can remove the tubing there, wash and dry your cover, and then reinsert the tubing.

The jury is still out

Cozy bed for our dog

Like this cave bed. Dog loves it when cool at night. Roomy and comfortable. Seems well constructed. Have not tried washing it yet.

Great, durable bed

Dogs love this bed, and it’s held up really well against their incessant scratching, pulling, etc, and the occasional need to toss it in the wash.

Exactly what we needed

Perfect product for a pup that likes to be cozy and snuggly. The top part feels snug at first but the padding of the bed does soften and there was never an issue with him snuggling right into it

Great dog bed

I purchased this in size small for my 20 pound, short doggie friend. At first I had to place her inside but she uses it all the time now. During hotter weather she sleeps on top but now that it is getting colder she goes inside on her own and seems very comfy.

Great hideaway

Little did I know that Moose & Peanut would make it into a toy plus snuggle worthy. I hid treats in it at first but then they really discovered it. They burrow way down in the large size and buddy up. Well worth the money!

MY DOG LOVES HER COZY CAVE

My GSP loves her new Cozy Cave. She has trouble figuring out how to enter it, but once she is in, she sleeps through the night. It's soft, fuzzy and warm and keeps her happy and comfortable.
