Dilemma
This is a great little seat for our 8 pound Maltese, Oliver. To prepare him, I placed the seat in our living room and he jumped right in and went to sleep. It was installed easily in our Palisade SUV, and Oliver loved the first ride we took using the seat. I fastened the existing tether onto his collar. All went well UNTIL I stopped the car to get something out of the back seat. I didn't notice that he wanted to see what I was doing and let out of his seat, jumped into the back seat, and was hanging by the tether!!!!!Egads. So, better training is needed for Oliver and I want to extend a caution warning to the rest of you!
Great solution
I needed more space in the car to take the whole family, and this chair helped me. In addition, my pet is delighted to be closer to me when I drive.
Best car seat for our little one!
We purchased this seat after purchasing two less expensive car seats that did not work for our dog. The previous car seats were very flimsy and when our pup put her paws on them they would collapse under her weight. This seat is very sturdy and she is very comfortable in it. She thinks she is the queen of the road! Thank you for making such a quality product.
Going on a road trip
We went from Arizona to Oregon and back to Arizona. This car seat was perfect. Our chihuahua was so comfortable. She could sit up and see out all windows or lay down and sleep. Best thing we perchased for our trip.
No Instructions and Runs Very Small
The seat itself is ok. It runs small and I ordered the large for my 14 pound Shorkie. He has to ball up in it. There are front straps and back straps and I have NO idea where they go. No instructions in the box. The back straps, I ASSUME, go under the center console but those are usually attached to the floor so that doesn't work. I also assume the front straps go inside the console but you can't tighten them up enough to be secure. I can't strap this thing down anywhere to make it safe. If I have to slam on the brakes, the whole thing will be on the floor along with my dog. Just not worth using.
The Snoozer makes him Snooze!
The Snoozer High Back car seat just arrived. I measured Colby prior to purchase and was worried he’d just fit and it may be too small and uncomfortable for him. Colby is 8lbs and 14” long. He’s a mix of several small dogs. Chewy assured me I could sent it back if it didn’t work. I’ve been using a really nice “square” foam booster seat for Colby, but in my new SUV he’s in the backseat and it’s just not the safest. He’d still fly around and possibly hit the side door or window in a T-bone collision, even thou the seat is belted in and he’s belted into the seat. He’s so small he probably wouldn’t survive. He’d definitely get whiplash. Being a retired State Trooper, I know what car crashes can do and have witnessed pets in crashes - it’s heartbreaking. I needed something safer and the Snoozer fit the bill. Plus it was on sale and I had a gift card. Why not try it? The pluses - he’s “sandwiched” in between two foam sides -and the high back is a huge safety plus. The seat belt attachment to his harness appears sturdy, and he’s not impacted by the air bag. He loves car rides and I know he will love riding in his Snoozer. The ONLY con is he can’t curl up into a ball to sleep. Oh well. We will make more stops on the long x-county trips. I’m just happy he will be safe. I opened the box and put the snoozer on the floor dropping a treat inside. He jumped right in, got comfy, and doesn’t want to come out!!!! Colby approved!!!!!!!!
Good idea, but...
We have a 2019 Highlander, and the console design won't allow the Snoozer to be attached like the one in the picture. If we mount it in the back seat, our dog is upset that he's not next to us in his "usual" place, so he won't stay inside his seat. Not sure what to do... Sigh.
SHE LOVES IT
Our 7 pound chihuahua mix loves it, it sits on the console and it keeps her little body contained, she rest her head on the edge and she can see out the windows.

while its my mistake for ordering too small, i ca'nt image any animal tat could fit in this
Travel bed
We love this dog bed. Our puppy likes it even more. Easy to install. Very stable traveling.
