Great seat, but there is a clasp problem
The clasp on the tether is extremely difficult to open, especially for someone like me with arthritic hands and fingers, making it impossible to use. It’s disappointing because the product seems like the perfect way to keep my fur baby safe in the car. I hope I can find another tether that will work for me.
Perfect for my dachshund
We bought this for a cross country road trip and it was perfect. Our miniature dachshund loved it. The storage drawer underneath was perfect for putting his treats and leash and the height was great for him to look out the window. One thing to note is that the clasp is pretty strong and a bit hard to open.
Safest car booster dog seat
Years ago I found a car seat like this one but now have a second pup. Found another car booster in a discount store a couple years ago. It just wasn’t as easy to use or as safe as the first one I have. I was delighted to find this booster seat so I could have both my girls traveling safely. It has a storage drawer under the seat. For a small to medium sized dog I would highly recommend using only this booster seat.

I love this "car seat" for small dogs. It's the second one I have had. Our dog is perfectly satisfied to sit in it and doesn't even seem to want to get out of it, whether for a short ride in town or long distance travel!!
VERY NICE CAR SEAT
My pup (a 7 lb Pomeranian) has long legs and had a seat the was held up by straps around the headrest. The top of the seat had a metal bar holding up the sides. With her long legs she had trouble curling up due to the metal bar being in her way. The new seat has feet thick supportive foam sides. No bar in her way. The seat itself is soft and it seems roomier for her to move around in. The whole seat and sides are covered in Sherpa. Cutey is very comfortable in it. Because it sits on the seat it doesn’t move as opposed to the other seat that hung from the headrest. I should have bought this the first time I bought a car seat for her. It is definitely a very good buy.
Best car seat ever !
We bought two, one for the car and one to put in front of our living room window. Our puppy loves it and she sure makes it look comfy ! It is very secure in the car and the perfect height for being able to see out the window.
Best carseat ever
I am a big believer in keeping pets safe in cars. I had a different brand car seat for my last pet, but it was difficult to install and not all that comfortable for my furbaby. I ordered this Lookoutii a few weeks ago. A little on the expensive side, but well worth the price. Easy to install, very roomy and comfy for my Scottie and she is safe and secure while looking out the window.
Great dog car seat
Perfect for my 17 lb goldendoodle. She can look out the window and can lay down if she wants. I needed to put a quilt over the furry inside because she still likes to chew that, but she loves the comfort.
Not for Us
Sits way too high up and not enough coverage around his body. I didn't even sit him in it. It's definitely a booster seat. I wanted a seat he can sit in and not on. Sent back.
She loves it!
I’m used to just holding our dog on my lap or having her lay on the seat. A tragic local story whipped me right into shape to insure a safer ride. The dog loves it because she can see out the window and then lay down if she wants. She is about 15 lbs. Airbag is off.
