Terrible design, my dog can’t even get in it!
By BLP1 on Mar 19, 2021
The circumference of the bed is plenty big, but my dog can’t get in it. The opening is so tight, I have to hold it open for him. Even with me helping, it’s a tight squeeze. I tried removing the hoop, but that doesn’t work either. The other problem is the bed is lopsided. Even when he tries to just lay on the top, the bed wobbles backwards. This doesn’t exactly create a safe feeling spot to lay down. The materials are thick and soft, otherwise, this definitely doesn’t work for my dog.

Daschund approved
By Kelli on Mar 5, 2021
Our daschund loves burrowing in covers and blankets, so this was an obvious choice when picking a bed he didn't have to share with his Great Dane brother. Took an hour or so of letting him sniff it, but he nuzzled himself in there all by himself & we often find him snoozing away in his new bed. I probably should have sized up, our 18 lb pup is a long boy & he scoots to the seam, but he doesn't seem to mind!

High Quality and Warm
By VizslaMom on Feb 19, 2021
If you are considering buying this bed for your cold, short haired dog, you should. It has great material quality, good cushion, the bed is removable and the cover is washable. I am training my vizsla to not sleep in the bed with me anymore and she was not adjusting well to using a blanket. I now find her in this bed most mornings and for at least one dog nap. Couldn't be happier. PS. We got ours in olive and the color looks great.

It's a keeper!
By 2retired on Jan 26, 2021
We have a 7 yo beagle that LOVES this bed. This is our second purchase. Our first purchase was 3 years ago. Bailey loves sleeping in a cave. He uses this all the time. After awhile it starts shedding, the inside material. I did wash the first one after a year and a half, which helped, but after 3 years decided to get him a new one. No regrets. Highly recommend this bed. This one does not have a removeable cover.

Nice Bed for Medium Sized Dogs
By HoundMom on Feb 1, 2021
Good bed, heavy fabric, stuffed well, and the wire form for the top seems durable. I have three basset hounds, so the only down side is the drool on the bed cover - it's noticeable and at times difficult to remove :(

Love this Doggie Bed!
By Beagleville on Jan 7, 2021
This bed is brilliant! Our beagle always likes to snuggle under the covers. Now she can snuggle all by herself when we aren't here. Probably should have ordered the extra large though, this is the large bed.

BEST DOG BED EVER!!!
By Meredith on Dec 4, 2020
Our GSP puppy and my family’s Vizsla absolutely love these beds!!! We got XL for both and they are perfect. These high energy dogs get in the cave and actually stay still! We are telling everyone who will listen about them and have many people getting one as well.

I really wanted my dog to love this bed!
By JulieB on Mar 30, 2020
In theory this is an awesome bed but if you have an older dog/arthritic dog this is not a good option. I have a disabled dachshund and he loves to burrow but he didn’t like the canopy or the thickness of the pad. He struggled to get comfortable. I found that his favorite beds are the cheaper ones that he can dig and burrow into. Also...how do you wash this thing with the giant plastic rod in it? I ended up cutting it out. Unfortunately I haven’t found a good bed for a disabled dog to cuddle up in yet.

Don't give up if your dog doesn't jump right in
By j9Pers on Dec 14, 2019
When I initially showed our 7 month-old whippet his new bed, all he wanted to do was chew the upper edge where the plastic support piece is. I took that out, and showed him how to get in it. He stayed for about 10 seconds and came back out. He kept showing interest over the next few days and I'd lift the top flap for him to help him get in. He would stay a bit longer each time. We've had the bed about a week, now and have put the support piece back in. I'm attaching a couple of photos of him. He loves his cave now! If your dog doesn't jump right in, be patient and help him get used to it. He may need a few days to figure out that he likes it. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the plastic tube support piece keeps coming back out of the slot where you insert it. If a little bit of velcro could be sewn in to keep that slot closed, it would be a pretty perfect bed for your snuggler. … more
