Amazing bed
We were given this bed and it has been a perfect addition to our dog bed collection. So much so that it is the preferred bed for all our pups. Now I have to order one for our upstairs.
Best bed for your buck!!
We ordered this bed for our Boxer. He loves it, he fits perfect in it, it keeps him warm and he actually plays in it too!!! Been a great investment for all of us!! Thank you
Tight opening
The opening is very tight and restricting. Quality is great and size is great but my 60lb lab mix can barely squeeze through the opening. He can if I hold it open but he can’t do it himself and he is uncomfortable when inside bc it is tight. Picture makes it look like a lot more space to get in.
So worth the money!
Our little girl loves her bed! She is a snuggler and loves being under the covers with us in bed. She loves laying by the floor vents when heat is coming out and this bed is perfect. The Sherpa lining helps keep her warm and the orthopedic base is super comfortable. When introducing her to her new bed it was big enough to for me to go through the opening and lay. It has a small tube to hold the opening up a little so they can go right in and snuggle. The cover has a zipper for easier cleaning. 2 tips: I got black and it shows dog slobber easy. The other is don’t get discouraged if they don’t use it at first. Our girl didn’t for about 2 weeks. We tried coaxing her in and I think it was so different from what she’s had and was hesitant to use it. Then one day she just went in and laid down. She has run of our house while we’re gone and I think she just needed to try it out on her own time. Now she loves it!
Comfortable but the inner mattress didn’t expand enough
What a cute comfortable bed! She loved the cave aspect. However, even though I followed the instructions for the egg crate type insert expansion, it expanded to only about half of the size of what was needed. Therefore, it doesn’t sit up tall enough to allow for the “cave ceiling” to stay even a little bit open for self entry. I thought about returning the item but decided instead to find additional egg crate in a local store and create additional padding myself. For that reason, it only earned three stars.
Vaccum packed junk
This product came in a small box. The ortho foam and topper "pillow" thing were vacuum sealed to save on shipping costs according to the insert. 24 hours and the foam still has not expanded. The topper pillow that is filled with fuzzy stuff and cedar has very little filling at all. I would say 2 handfuls. I expected alot more for this price point. I will give it another day and see what happens. But it looks like this thing is getting returned.
Perfect bed for a whippet
I got the bed in an XL for my 30lb whippet, I chose the biggest size so when we get another whippet they could snuggle together. So far she seems to like it. My only complaint is that the base of the bed has a lot of extra room, it could easily fit another piece of foam padding in it. So because of that it looks kinda saggy and cheap. I would advise anyone not to pay full price for the bed, definitely not worth that original price tag.
Perfect for our GSP
This bed is such a wonderful idea. My pup loves to lay on top of it, curled on the edge of it, and talked all the way into it. Her and her friends all love to lay on it and to play on it. I’m glad we splurged and got the orthopedic conversion, because the foam layer is quite nice. Heads up that it was like a tricky duvet trying to insert th this bed is such a wonderful idea. They sent me a returned item!
I've gotten this bed before and it's a good bed... But Chewy.com sent me a returned version... The foam and pillow were completely separated and looked used. Don't think I would buy this from chewy.com again.
Not quite the right size
I have an 80lb pitbull who loves to be covered. I had purchased the Xlg a few months back and found that it is HUGE. So I purchased the LG which is quite a bit smaller. An in-between size would be perfect. But within a few days I see the plastic tube is coming out one side. I don't think the stitching was completed on that side. So that's a bummer considering the expense.
