We approve!! This is a must have
We just got a new puppy. We have a 12 year old and 12 years later you forgot how traumatic it can be. This is very soothing. For the few minutes during the day that she does sleep, she sleeps on this. It's a must for new pups!
Cuddle Buddy for the new pups
My pups really enjoy there cuddle buddy especially coming into a new home. Helped with the separation anxiety that sometime come along with a new pet. One of my pup ended up injuring his leg and the heat pad help with the comfort of the healing process as well
Not Helpful
I bought this for my new puppy thinking it would help with crate training and sleeping at night. Well let’s just say it had the opposite effect and had her all crazy. I think the heartbeat made it a toy and game to get. I’m sad that I spent that much money on it but oh well. She also had the Velcro figured out in 5 minutes. Maybe she just needs puzzle games instead
Snuggle Puppy
Our dog, Wiggles, is a rescue Pug. She has always had separation anxiety issues when my husband leaves for work. We decided to get a Snuggle Puppy for her hoping it would help. It definitely does help. It also helps her when we go on road trips as well. Wiggles named her new friend Puggles.
She loves 'Puppy'!
This was Sadie's very first toy more than 2 years ago. She sleeps & plays with it everyday. It is white, like she is (white lab) and we call her toy 'Puppy". She doesn't destroy toys but since I have to wash Puppy frequently, it is getting very limp. Hence the new replacement when Puppy finally succumbs.
A friend away from home
I gave this to my pup at 8 weeks. He's now 5 months old and still sleeps with it nightly. His ritual to wind down seems to be nooking the plushie for some time and eventually he falls asleep. He was adopted from a shelter so he separated from mom by 4th week. He also came with a sibling who was also adopted on the same day so I can imagine alot of separation anxiety. This helps him sleep at night for sure. It's lasted him his long without a tear, yet maybe because he hasn't had the urge to locate the pulsating heart. The light brown bleaches well too, no discolorations. Velcro is strong with good seems so its not glaringly obvious that this is where the heart is kept. 2 aaa batteries from the dollar store really does last 2 weeks when I put it in continuous mode. When I launder the plushie I would put the heart in another sealable toy for him to use for the time being.
my baby loves this
I got this for my puppy, as he does get a bit anxious when alone and in his crate. He use to cry and cry, but how he goes right to sleep. My puppy loves this and I would recommend to anyone with a new baby!
Worked well
I used this when my puppy was very small and it helped him sleep through the night. The battery died after a few weeks, but it was easy to replace. I wouldn't give this to your puppy while they are teething because my puppy chewed off its tail.
Wanted to love!
I bought these for my two dogs. Thought spending $40 would mean better quality but sadly no. Within one day both stuffed animals were chewed up and stuffing all over!!! Hoping Chewy will let me return them.

I just got a NEW PUPPY! She's very little and had been super bonded to her sister so I saw this Snuggle Puppy and thought it would be perfect to help w/separation. AND it WAS! Until 3 days later when I replaced the batteries to the "heart." Set to an 8 hour period at night only, it didn't last long. I thought it was just old batteries, but replacing with new, the heart wouldn't start on one push. An hour later, I tried again, it started! I tried to shut it off then, and it wouldn't shut off. After MULTIPLE attempts w/wait periods in-between for reset, it FINALLY shut off. I think I got a 'bad' heart in this snuggle puppy. Now, my little girl pushes up against it looking for the heartbeat. This isn't an inexpensive item and I really had hoped for more than 3 days. But, when it did work, it was Perfect & she loved it. She even quit crying at night. I think the heart button doesn't work right. But, otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.
