If you’re looking for the purr-fect way to please your furry pal, give him the ultra-fun play space he deserves with the SnugglyCat Ripple Rug Cat Activity Play Mat. This all-purpose play mat makes ripples in kitty entertainment because it’s built to satisfy a range of natural cat behaviors, including scratching, stalking, pouncing, hiding and nesting. Its durable carpet fibers are perfect for digging claws into it—while sparing your furniture—and the holes and folds provide interactive play for your pal, with you or while you’re away. Plus, its cozy design with a thermal base makes a comfy bed for more quiet moments and catnaps. Thanks to its fur-trapping action, it also helps you tame loose fur and dander by keeping it on the mat. And if you have more than one feline pal, this activity mat is large enough to accommodate multiple cats and promote healthy play and social behaviors.
Key Benefits- Play mat, scratching spot, social activity, and cozy bed all in one.
- Folds and holes provide interactive, enriching play and support primal cat behaviors.
- Durable carpet fibers are perfect for digging claws while sparing your furniture.
- Provides a comfy bed with thermal base and collects loose fur from shedding.
- Proudly made in the USA and folds away for easy storage and take-along.
The safety slits allow larger cats to fit through holes. Safety slits can be extended with a pair of scissors if needed. Supervised play is recommended. Always use top and bottom together to ensure safety, top may be slippery if used alone. Touchpoints are designed for ultimate cat safety. Touchpoints employ a safe fusion technology. If a cat should come under extreme duress, touchpoints are designed to release to ensure your cat's safety. If for any reason a touchpoint should release, they can be easily reattached. Please do not attempt to manually peel off Touch-points. It is possible for humans to pull them off; a child safety mechanism. Released touch-points are not sticky, this too is a safety measure. They won't get stuck to your cat's fur or bottom of your foot.

Unfold both rugs, lay flat and vacuum when new. Place the rug coated with non-slip surface onto the floor. Next, position the other rug with holes over the top, use the fuzzy fastener touch-points to shape ripples.
Touch-points can be attached by pressing them down to any spot on the bottom rug. To release, pull up on the top carpet at any time. You may reshape the carpet as often as you like.
To create reinforced arch, fold the long edge of the top rug (next to center touch-point) - twice. Ensure that the touch-point's burrs make contact with the carpet fibers. Next, press down corner touch-points on either side of the fold to make arch.
Cleaning: A sticky roller or vacuum can help remove fur when needed. Use soap and water for other nasties. Rinse using a garden hose. Hang flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.

my lowkey cat goes NUTS for this thing
By RippleRug on Jan 23, 2021
My cat is picky about toys--she ignores the vast majority and the ones that do pique her interest, she tends to bore of quickly. I'm happy to say the Ripple Rug has awakened her inner hunter! She goes absolutely NUTS for this thing, scratching and biting at it ferociously! I think she may be losing weight, thanks to daily playtime sessions with the Ripple Rug! Her favorite is when I tease her by poking a feather wand in and out through the holes in the rug. But if I can't play with her, due to work or something, I'll hide toys in the folds of the rug for her to find. So far I've had the Ripple Rug for two months and she's still loving it. Well worth the price.

Our Boys Love It
By SteveRRRR on Dec 30, 2020
Our boys love it, especially Crazy Louie. We’ve actually nicknamed it Crazy Louie’s Ambush Cave because he loves to jump out through the larger holes and surprise his brothers, or just shoot a lightning quick paw out of one of the smaller holes to tag them on the way by. The other two like to lay on top of it, or play with toys that are inside it through the openings. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that you’re supposed to be able to fold it over and have the Velcro stick to the inside to stiffen an “entrance” archway, but it barely sticks to the inside, and that lasts about until the cats look at it. Arrived very quickly - Earlier than promised. Will definitely keep shopping Our boys love it, especially Crazy Louie. Takes time to get used to, but then it's great playtime
By Asher on Jan 18, 2021
I've seen ripple rugs used by kitten fosters that I follow online and how much they're loved by young cats, so I bought one to try and give more interesting playtime for my older cats. I think my cats were a little afraid of the rug at first, but adjusting it to a position they liked and tossing some of their other toys inside sparked their curiosity within a day. Even my naysayer cat likes to at least lay on it and rub on it, which I consider a win. Worth the price, and it's very thick and carpet-like so I know it will last a long time.

Short-lived fun
By Lmpg on Jan 8, 2021
I really looked forward to getting this play rug. The cats loved it at first. It was a bit challenging to get it to make a cave shape that would stay up for more than a few mins, but I figured the cats could just burrow into it and play. That worked for a while, but they would get bored unless they could see into it like a cave or tunnel. Unfortunately a naughty cat decided to pee on it while it was flat, and now it is trash. I tried cleaning it, but the smell won't leave. I will stick with old blankets for them to play in.

AWWESOME!!!!
By Kris78424 on Jan 7, 2021
My babies LOVE this!!!!! I just got it today and they are sooooo addicted! My tabby's just laying on it, as I'm typing this....lol (Directions say to vacuum the top and the bottom initially to remove any loose fibers. I did so and normally the tabby is scared of the vacuum, but this time he sat there waiting for me to finished....lol)

Collapsed after a few days
By CatMan on Jan 13, 2021
Cats loved it the first day but when they climbed on top it collapsed and the second, inner set of velcro attached and kept it down. Kitties are no longer interested. I’m going to buy something me Velcro to attach to the inner Velcro and hope that helps. For the price you would think they would include the Velcro blockers for an extra penny in cost.

Kitty loves the base
By Cindy on Jan 11, 2021
My cat didn’t take to this at first. After I got the top part arranged, my cat came over, sniffed it, and gave me her thumbs down look. I took the top part off and put some of her toys on it, and now she loves hanging out on it. I may try the top part again after she is used to the base. I gave it four stars only because she didn’t care for the top part.

BEST TOY EVER!!
By CatMom on Dec 14, 2020
I have 3 cats with all different personalities and they love this toy. You don't necessarily need to prop up the center. I stopped trying because they started to sleep on it too. I now vacuum the bottom, randomly throw their toys on it, and put the top over it and it mostly lays flat. Except where the bumps are from the toys. They feel the bumps and start digging out the toys. Its hysterical. And they still reach or put their heads into the holes. They have so much fun and then use it as a bed when they are all tired out. I also don't have to worry when I hear their claws grabbing because its on the mat and not my rug. Excellent toy

The best pet toy ever!
By MJG1983 on Jan 6, 2021
We recently brought home two kittens and were a little nervous about introducing them to the rest of the clowder. The cat breeder highly recommended this rug and after seeing her cats and kittens playing with one, we knew we had to get one! We put toys under the rug and everyone gets along and plays for hours! Best money spent!!!

Awkward but Instant Favorite
By shrimp2 on Dec 9, 2020
Cat freakin' loves this rug. Immediately took to it out of the box. Loves crawling into it and batting at things through the holes. The top layer completely detaches and fixes itself to the bottom layer, in case this isn't obvious from the photos. The obvious benefit here is that it's a very flexible and mysterious toy for the kitten. The less-obvious problem is that it can be hard to keep the rug structured in such a way that invites crawling into it. I'm not sure how such a thing could be fixed though. He loves jumping into the top layer as much as he loves crawling under it. I can't imagine putting any stiff parts in or around this toy to ensure it props up better.
