Well made and stylish!

We bought two leashes and two collars. We chose Teal for our boy and Coral for our girl. Would have given four stars but the Teal collar and leash handle match perfectly in color, unfortunately the Coral did not. The collar looks more brown than coral and not close to the leash color. We requested a replacement hoping it was just a bad dye job on that batch but the same thing happened. Apparently there are two different colors of Coral they are using. These are very stylish and strong (a must for our "SQUIRREL!" dogs). They are so nice we only use them for when we go out in town and to events. Only other problem is they come with a thank you card that has a website for registering for lifetime warranty, but the website doesn't work. I have even tried Googling Vaun Duffy and can't get a working website to register my product.

Awesome durable leash

I’ve had this leash for about 1.5 years now and it’s still holding up incredibly well. Very comfortable to hold! It’s my go to leash.

Not as pictures

We bought for our wedding not as it looks in the picture for color. The coral is closer to brown and not as clean looking.

Pleasantly surprised - really good leather

I didn't have too high of expectations since it was cheaper than the other leather leashes you find online, but I'm really pleasantly surprised at how good of quality leather this leash is. You definitely get whiffs of the leather itself, but I personally don't mind. I love using it as a casual leash when I take my little one out in the city to keep her closer and not hold as much leash.

Snap Failed within a year with light use

The leather is very sturdy, but the weakest point is the brass snap. I have a 45lb dog that I don't even use the leash to walk her everyday (when not walked, we go to the dog park, so she runs off-leash), so, on average, this leash is used for 25 min neighborhood walk 4 times a week, and within a year, the brass snap already fails --- the snap will retract on its own, enabling the dog to get out of the leash on its own. If the dog is impulsive and doesn't respond to the emergency stop command, this can create a dangerous situation for other people and the dog. I don't recommend it because of the weak snap.

Worried that clasp will come undone

Unfortunately, the leash clasp (the prong part that should "click" in when you release the latch) is off center, so I worry that if my dog pulls on it, it will open and the leash will come off her collar. I am afraid to test it.
