Leather leash

This was exceptional. It had a built in smaller lead handle and the way it's braided. Best r purchase yet. I would recommend this leash too everyone

best bang for your buck!

If you are looking for a quality leather leash that is built to last and at a great price, I don’t think any other leash than this one would fulfill that need. The leather is top notch and super durable that ages nicely. The second handle grip near the base is a great design as well. At first the leather is a little stiff but loosens up and browns super well.

Absolutely Wonderful

This leash has been wonderful. It's holding up so far to my Pyrenees/Lab puppy. She hasn't been able to chew it up like almost everything else she puts her teeth on. Also it's reinforced leather and handle gives me better control when walking with her. If needed I am able to correct her behavior without much effort, making it a much more pleasant experience for both of us. I highly recommend this leather leash to other dog owners, especially ones who have large dogs.

Favorite Leash

This is my all time favorite leash for my German Shepherd’s. It gives me great control with the added feature of the traffic handle. The handles are slightly padded without loosing being able to feel the dog through the leash. In addition I have arthritis in my hands. So the padding helps and allows me to still maintain the grip I need especially during training. It’s very hard to find a leash of this quality with the extra feature that doesn’t get in the way. My all time favorite.

Black leash

It is a strong leash with a soft handle and a short one to control my dog with. I hope it softens up more but with use i believe it will. I always like ordering products from Chewy. They stand behind everything and want to satisfy the customer and dog.

Great leash

We had this leash for 4+ years & it recently got lost in the woods while hiking & swapping out for a long traininf leash. I am so bummed because it was perfectly broken in & softened. I didn't hesitate to get a different leash. This leash is sturdy, handsome & has a perfect traffic leash. I'm looking forward to breaking this one in in the next few months. Don't get frustrated by stiffness when you first get it, but with time, long walks, weather and the natural oils from your hands, this is a superb leash.

Best Leash I have owned - Ever

I've just ordered a 2nd one as back up. Brass Clasp is a must in my opinion, for any leash. The inside handle lining wears out more quickly than the leash - if there was an option to have all leather I would consider. That said, I have a strong "city" dog - meaning I walk her 4 times a day. Takes a while to break in, like breaking in a baseball glove - the leather is that good.
