My dog loves this food
By JoshG on Feb 18, 2021
My dog (Min Pin) has always had tummy issues since she was a puppy and is now 8 years old and I've tried every food imaginable to find something that would not make her tummy hurt, well it's been almost a month since she's been on this food and not one tummy issue. She really seems to enjoy this food a lot, the only thing she doesn't love is that she has to wait 15 minutes for it to hydrate.. LOL The food smells so good too, it smells like a Thanksgiving dinner. I definitely recommend it.

Best dog food ever!
By Teresaj on Mar 20, 2021
This is the best dog food ever! I have a 14 yr old Sheltie with major stomach issues and this cleared it up. He loved the Wild venison best but when I couldn't get the venison anymore we switched to the turkey and he loved it too! ❤

Tasty and nutritious

My Golden Retriever loves it. The only thing is it’s hard for her to be patient to wait the 14 min. for the water to activate the dehydrated food. I would recommend

Very happy Doggie!
By Larry on Dec 20, 2020
Show to start this off properly, we decided to change out dog to a raw diet. We did some research and found a few companies that had great ratings but poor customer service or the shipping was terrible some were both! lol We checked out chewy and thought we would give them a try. The first shipment of dog food took a couple of days to get to us. My dog absolutely loves the freeze dries dog food. Her skin is starting to clear up. She isn’t licking and scratching as she use to doing. The second shipment came the very next morning! I was shocked on the speed of the shipping! Thank you all so much!

Best dehydrated raw
By Jerky on Dec 26, 2020
Despite the daunting price this really is a great product. Limited ingredients, no lentils, peas, or chicken. Visible meat pieces and rehydrates into a food of substance vs. a powdered mush like many brands. I like feeding raw but with 6 dogs and a busy schedule it can be hard to manage. This lets me give a raw breakfast even while traveling. I use a quality kibble for dinners.

He won’t eat it
By Boop on Jan 30, 2021
Thought he would enjoy meals that were warm, as he usually get that but with different food , but he doesn’t like it! very expensive to just throw it out, but that’s the chance you take! Bummer

I’ve switched
By Rachael on Jan 9, 2021
I have had my dog on this for 5 years. The last two batches were awful. Chewy replace one and it was the same. Would not soften in water. Meat looked like string and paper. My dog actually threw it up.

great breakfast
By wannerv on Nov 2, 2020
I have tried Dr. Marty freeze dried raw and my dogs liked it at first but a week later they wouldn’t eat it anymore. So I decided to try a different freeze dried dog food because I like the concept. The dogs love it! I feed the, sojos turkey for breakfast and then they eat a high quality hard dog food. They are thriving and look forward to both. It makes the rather speedy sojos last longer and gives them some healthy variety. I just ordered the lamb so here’s hoping they like it as much as the turkey!

Great alternative

Great complete freeze dried meal. Takes prep time so not as portable as kibble but easier to digest. Noticed healthier coat.

Better Value but Produces More 'Waste"
By Bhani on Oct 19, 2020
In an effort to economise on feeding my 65lb dog, I recently switched him from a more expensive competitor's raw freeze-dried food to Sojos Complete. The competitor's food ingredients were simply: meat, organ meat, ground bone and a couple of different fruits and vegetables (my sense was that the meats were the majority of the ingredients). With Sojo's second ingredient listed as 'sweet potatoes', I admit that I was a bit disappointed as to me, sweet potato, while 'healthy' to humans, seems like a bit of a bulky filler ingredient. Yet, I wanted to give it a try with my dog anyway. For sure, my dog likes the Sojos (he is not a finicky eater), but his bowel movements were significantly larger In an effort to economise on feeding my 65lb dog, I recently switched him from a more expensive competitor's raw freeze-dried food to Sojos Complete. Yet, I wanted to give it a try with my dog anyway. For sure, my dog likes the Sojos (he is not a finicky eater), but his bowel movements were significantly larger and more frequent. This to me is a sign of 'waste' ingredients that the dog is not truly using/metabolising and just passing as a waste product. Not entirely a bad thing as I could also see that my dog put on a bit of weight (which he could have used) as well. Still, something to consider...I love the larger size of the bag, and more attractive price-point, but perhaps this is a lesson in 'getting what you pay for'. … more
