Serve dry or with some water to increase aroma for your dog. We recommend splitting these daily guidelines into 2 meals. Feeding amounts are guidelines only and may vary based on activity level, health condition, life stage and temperature. It is important to maintain your pet’s body condition for their long-term health. Since Solid Gold pet foods are complete and balanced, additional foods, treats and chews may alter that balance. Be sure to offer fresh, clean water daily. We recommend your dog see the veterinarian annually.

Transition Instructions

Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 - 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold over the next 5 - 7 days until your dog is eating Solid Gold exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.

    It’s just okay

    By on

I gave it 3 stars because, although Solid Gold is great, my dogs are not really fans of this food. They will pick around it and leave morsels on the floor. Eat it only occasionally

    Amazing product

    By on

My older dog has a very weak stomach and I have nevervdfound a food that has not caused her to vomit until I found this solid gold kibble. Now both of my dogs are thriving with no issues. I would strongly reccomend this brand of food if your dog has any stomach issues. And chewy is so good about getting this product to me in a timely matter..

    Love this food

    By on

Our French Bulldog was constantly throwing up after eating. It was getting to be a se4ious problem. She was on another Solid Gold food at the time. I bought the sensitive stomach and the problem immediately went away. She has not thrown up once since I switched. She also loves it, I used to put her food down for the day but now I have to do it twice a day because she eats it all up. Extremely satisfied

    Rafael & Romeo Approved!!

    By on

My adorable fluffy mutt, Rafael has a stomach made of steel but my little chocolate Cocker Spaniel, Romeo has a sensitive stomach. This food has been excellent for the both of them and they looove it!! I'm a huge fan of Solid Gold, as it was very good for my senior Cocker that passed away last summer at almost 15 years old. This is an excellent high quality food brand, in any flavor that you choose to feed your pups!! :)

Good For Dogs with Digestion issues

    By on

This is a really good dog food. My dog likes is and he is staying very slim and satisfied. His digestion is great. I recommend it for adult French Bulldogs as they do tend to have stomach issues as they get older.

Dog loves it, but it hasn't helped his itchy skin

    By on

I usually feed Barking at the Moon, but my dog was having itchy skin so I tried another food from Solid Gold. My dog loves the taste but it hasn't helped w the itchiness. We will be switching back to Barking at the Moon because there is more protein. I find that my dog has to eliminate more often and there is a larger quantity with this food. He seems hungrier as well due to the lower protein and fat content. The benefit of Barking at the Moon is less stool and a more satiated dog. I'll have to find another cure for the itchy skin.

    Small kibble

    By on

I like that it has small kibble, my dog loves it. I use this as an additional food so my dog isn’t eating the same thing over and over.
