I have a 13 1/2-year-old corgi who was never a picky eater until she had a severe bout of vestibulars disease. In order to get her to eat she was on anti-nausea medicine along with an appetite stimulator which she detested. I was told about solid gold and after trying numerous other dog foods this is a hit with her. She gets a half a can twice a day along with pumpkin and her heart meds. No more anti-nausea medicine no more appetite stimulant. She LOVES this food. She’s acting like her old self and feels great. I always warm it up if it’s been refrigerated because cold food is hard on their tummies. Yes his food is a bit pricey but it’s worth it. … more

i bought for dog with stage 4 kidney failure in hopes to help with phospher issues. he didn't like it and wouldn't eat it. He died 3 weeks later. My other dogs eat it no problem. There is alot of good info on using it so I may continue as the commercial food at stores is bad and making dogs sick. i bought for dog with stage 4 kidney failure in hopes to help with phospher issues. he didn't like it and wouldn't eat it. Not what I expected
By Mariposa08 on Jan 16, 2021
I was looking for cold-processed green tripe. I didn't read the ingredient list before ordering. Yes, my fault for not looking. I want 100% cold processed green tripe.

This food smells horrible but my dog loves it!! I use it a lot for stuffing West Paw Toppls. Works perfectly for a nice frozen treats. I also add it into her kibble. It’s her favorite!

Good but tripett is better
By Jesstaya on Jan 4, 2021
My dogs liked it but didn't love it like tripett. I guess I will just have to stick with the other brand from now on. Thought I'd try something new, but my collies barely ate this.

Solid Gold beef tripe
By dlolone on Jan 1, 2021
Our pups love this stuff. I like adding the benefits of tripe to their diet a few times a week and they are extra excited for meals when this is involved. It also works great for making little meatballs to give meds in

Great Food...cans not so much!
By Frankiesmom on Dec 25, 2020
The food is great. My Dane loves it. Typically use as a meal topper, just a little something extra. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the condition of the cans. This is the 2nd shipment I’ve received of dented/damaged cans.

I found...
By 1111 on Dec 1, 2020
Finally I found a healthy, grain free product that made my shih tzu eat. He has a renal disease and feeding him has been very difficult since he chooses if he eats it or not. Yes, simple as that! This green tripe is amazing! Thank you Chewy. He's only a 3yrs and14 lbs pup. Now he eats everything. I take 1 tablespoon and mix it with his natural food, or sweet potatoes, greens and even raw meat diet and, no problem now! His RD is controlled and is a happy dog. And me too. TY.

Perfect for kidney failure babies
By Kirsten on Nov 30, 2020
My dog has less than 90% kidney function left, takes daily sub-q fluids, and sometimes it's hard to get her to eat because she either isn't feeling well or her prescription food just tastes... icky. She lost it over this wet food! It smells appetizing, and she instantly inhaled it! Limited ingredients with all the added vitamins and minerals your dog needs. This is a wonderful replacement for kidney failure prescription wet food.
