This seems to be a polarizing food for cats! Luckily, my 20 year old enjoys it. It has more than twice as many calories per packet as similar brands; I haven’t yet found one with as many calories. It rivals a 3 oz can of food! So, you should try the smallest order possible just to see if they like This seems to be a polarizing food for cats! Luckily, my 20 year old enjoys it. This stuff looks like barf in a pouch. My wife and I refer to it as "the barf." And our indoor cats treat it as if it actually IS barf in a pouch and refuse to eat it unless I've removed their regular food beforehand and they're pretty hungry -- and even then, they'll just grudgingly pick at it for a while before scratching nearby as if they're covering up something offensive in their litter box. The outdoor cats, on the other hand (country life -- we end up with other people's strays that become our outdoor cats), love this stuff and gobble it up as if it's a fancy treat -- which, for them, I suppose it is, as they normally just get cheap kibble (as opposed to the expensive kibble the spoiled indoor kids crave). I bought this primarily for my male cat with urinary issues who needs more liquid intake, but this stuff just isn't all that liquid-y in the first place (it's more of a Little Lisa Slurry-type texture), and, much more importantly, he simply hates it. He loves meaty broths, in particular, but not this gross-textured stuff. TLDR: this stuff is barf in a pouch, and the cats I bought it for loathe it. I definitely won't be buying it again. … more

Purrfect for Persians
By WillowsMom on Jan 5, 2021
My Himalayan LOVES this creamy coconut delight. I mix it with her RX wet food that dries out easily. I think the coconut milk keeps her fur silky and shiny and cuts down on the amount of furballs she gets.

All my cats love it!

I have 2 adult cats and a new kitten. All 3 cats beg me for this food ANY time I walk into the kitchen. They don't get excited about any food quite like this one!

Trust the Goo
By David on Jul 6, 2020
My cat is a very picky eater and doesn't seem to like any other wet food besides this. Other wet foods he will lick like crazy and ignore all the solid bits... This stuff is mostly liquid and he goes wild for it. I'll usually split the pack into 2 servings and keep it the zip locked in the fridge once opened. It's really not appealing as a human (read: completely nasty) but I guess the product isnt really for me. Come get some delicious goo!

Cat hated it

My cat ate one pouch and then turned up her nose at the rest. I've been trying to pawn them off on the dog but even he seems uninterested.

Good but portion too big
By Nickname on Apr 8, 2020
My cat likes this food but I wish it came in smaller packets. I didn't think 3 oz. seemed like a large portion until I poured it into the bowl - normally I would give my adult cat a portion half this size. It must not keep very well in the fridge because my cat never eats the second half the following day, even though I let it warm up on the counter for an hour or so after taking out of the fridge. Will buy again if they start offering smaller packets.

Cats won’t eat this

I have 4 cats and unfortunately not one of them will eat this food. I think it’s the coconut milk because they will eat the solid gold in gravey
