This product has 25% carbohydrates and contains chicken fat. Keep in mind, chicken fat doesn't contain the allergen that chicken protein contains.

Does this brand have a resealable bag? My cat likes her food smelling really fresh and if it doesnt seal, she will only eat it for a couple weeks.

This bag is not resealable. For optimal freshness, the food should be kept in the bag and kept in an airtight food container.

It was a mess.

I have always bought this brand for my cat and the product was not the issue but how it arrived. I opened the package and could already hear spilled product whenever the box moved. I opened to see the bag torn and the product spilled everywhere.

Great Food!

I have a very sensitive and picky cat. I've gone through so many brands and flavors all ending in failure. This food is a winner! Unique flavor so she's not tired of it. The kibbles are small which is perfect. Her fur is silky soft just over a week in and she is much more active and happy. My furbaby approves!

Happy cats

All four of my cats like this food. I really like the ingredients list—and I went through A LOT of ingredients lists before going withthis one. We have gone through several bags by now, and I keep getting it for the babies. My kittens have been going for this one, even when they had kitten food—the vet said it was fine though, and they’re a year now. The 8-year old fur baby definitely would rather have this than his rx diet (he’s a high stress baby). My 18.5 year old cat who has no teeth eats it, and we have never had any tummy issues, unlike other stuff we have tried. I would definitely recommend this food.

you won't know until you try it

My cats enjoy a different flavor of Solid Gold dry food but Chewy no longer sells it, so I bought a different flavor. This flavor is a dud with them, a complete bust. After several days of them not eating it I gave it to the birds outside.

Gluten intolerant cat loves this food!

My cat is very picky and gluten intolerant. She loves this food more than any other flavor or brand and she does not have any digestive issues with it at all. Highly recommended.

Great, but a little stinky

Forced to try different products with the national cat food shortage. This one seemed promising, and got 3 paws up in the household. Kibble size is normal, around 0.7cm (0.27" inches). Only con is that it caused stinkier feces than usual, which is not a big deal, but definitely something we haven't experienced with salmon products from other brands. Would recommend to others if they are in a pinch.
