Great low-fat kibble for smaller breeds

    By Doglover012 on Jul 13, 2020

I was feeding my dog another premium kibble that he loved, but he went through a phase where he was vomiting it back up. I did some research, and Solid Gold was one of the most highly rated and came in a lower fat profile. Chewy got it to me within 2 days. Solid Gold / Salmon, Lentil & Green Bean Recipe

By Ragnar on Mar 12, 2020

I really like Solid Gold products for my two small dogs. I like the super foods and mixed protein sources. This formula, after feeding for several weeks, still lends itself to a looser, greenish (green beans) stool. So much so, that I have opted to mix it with other blander kibbles to firm up stool. Will not purchase again. … more

Great product for those with allergies, and those that need less calories!

We feed this to all our Yorkie rescues, and they love it. Works great for our Yorkie with skin allergies, too.

Feed this and they will lose weight.

    By on

I have two little chihuahuas, so their weight has to be kept in a healthy range. When I put them on this food, and keep their portions intact, they absolutely lost weight. Be warned though, my dogs get very hungry while on this food, so I know that it is doing its job. I give them a 50/50 mix of this weight control kibble and their regular kibble to maintain their weight once they have lost it. If grandma and grandpa are around to keep sneaking them food, then this won't help you :) Absolutely recommend this food.

It may be the new favorite

What a great food. My little seniors love this. I like the ingredient list and the small kibble. Since one of my girls has the beginning of some kidney problems, I like that it is a little lower in protein than many dry foods. So glad I found it on Chewy.

    So far so good

Our little guy is used to and loves the solid gold brand but hadn't tried the salmon flavor before. He likes it just great and we now mix the two.

    My dogs love it

I adopted a goldendoodle and a pomeranian 3.5 months ago. I've tried a lot of different brands. This kibble works for both dogs. The picky pomeranian loves it and I needed something that both dogs like that has a clean ingredient list.

    picky dogs will love it

I bought this for my daughter's elderly dogs, one of whom has only a few teeth yet, because of the size of the kibble. They ate like they'd never eaten before, and the ingredients (grain free) were a delight for her to see, and for the dogs to eat. A bit higher priced than we normally spend, but well worth it! Wish the bag had been bigger!

    GREAT TINY KIBBLE

    By on

Solid Gold Mighty Mini provides the tiniest quality kibble for our 2 Yorkies. Our recent Rescue is 10 years old & a whopping 8 LBs! Introduced her to the Salmon Weight Control & doing well with it. Our 13.5 year old Yorkie Rescue only has 3 teeth, so I have fed him Blue Buffalo patè...but even he is enjoying the tiny kibble. Bought him the fully leaded Lamb version, & he seems quite content! Thank You to Solid Gold for catering to these Mighty Mites!
