Furbaby tested! Fur mom approved!!
Well this dog food topper has passed the ultimate test. My dog is the pickiest of eaters and she just gobbles this topper up! She's only 4 lbs. so I either mix in several pieces with her dry food or top off her wet food with a small handful. She always goes for this topper first - devouring every single piece. I love that each morsel is small enough for her tiny mouth too. And it doesn't appear to be overly hard for her to chew but still crunchy enough that she loves it. Plus I love the amazing benefits that I know my furbaby is getting from this meal topper. This meal topper is extremely well tolerated by my furbaby too. She's experienced no negative reactions or side effects. This meal topper is loaded with all kinds of goodness that my furbaby needs like plasma rich proteins, amino acids and antibodies. And the ingredients are all natural and are grain free and gluten free as well. Plus it even comes straight from a USDA approved facility. And the re-closable, zip lock bag is so convenient and keeps this meal topper as fresh as possible. I'm so glad I discovered this meal topper and will most definitely continue to purchase for my furbaby! Highly recommended!! . I received this product as part of a free sample program. My Dog Isn't Picky
I received this as part of a free sample program. My dog is not picky about food. It doesn't even have to be categorized as food for her to eat it. That doesn't help judge if your dog will actually enjoy the taste of this. I gave this to her for a week every night to top her normal dinner. She didn't eat slower or leave anything behind, but that's just not her style. I didn't notice any change in bathroom habits, but I also didn't notice it cause any tummy upset. She has a sensitive tummy, probably from eating all the things she shouldn't, so at least it didn't harm her. I don't think I would purchase this, because I don't feel like it changed anything digestion wise. Cost wise, I think it would be more affordable to change to a higher quality dog food than paying $9 for this. I'm already halfway through the bag after a week, and my dog only weighs 45 pounds.
My dogs totally loved it!
My dogs loved the food topper! I recieved this product through a free sample program and from the moment I pulled the bag out of the box it came in they knew that they wanted it. I opened the bag and let them smell it before putting it on their food and they wouldn't leave me alone until I gave them some. Usually they eat out of the same bowl but for this I knew from their reactions that I better go ahead and put down 2 bowls. There wasn't a morsel left!
I wanted more
I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I was given a small 1 pound bag and I added it to my puppies food every night. In full disclosure my puppy is nine months old and 115 pounds! He’s a big boy! The serving size for him would have been 7 tablespoons but I did not want to go through the product in a few short days so I only gave it to him one meal a day and I only gave him a fraction of what he was supposed to get. He definitely enjoyed the product and did not shy away from his food when it was added in. I can’t say that I notice much of a difference because I take very good care of my dog to begin with, but what I did notice is that his elimination which is usually a little soft was much firmer and easier to manage. I think I needed more product to give a more comprehensive review. I would definitely purchase the product just to give it a solid college try.
Dogs loved it, Cost-to-Package ratio could be better
I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I was given a 1 pound bag and I added it to one of my four dog's food in the serving size suggested every night; my other three pups got tiny tastes so they weren't left out! The serving size for my ~40lb old lady made it go fairly quick. All of my pups liked the taste, even my picky girl. I didn't notice much of a difference in my girl's poop. I think I needed more product/more days on the product to give a whole spectrum review, but as far as flavor, it's multi-dog approved! For the cost, I do think the bag should be larger, when compared to some other food enhancers I have used in my pups' diets.
Even the picky one likes it.
I have 2 min pin terrier pups. Well there 6 years old. My boy dog will eat almost anything but my little girl definitely has her likes. I was very surprised that she didn’t turn her nose up at it. So o was really happy about that. The best planing though is my boy dog is skinny. He not unhealthy or anything he’s just really thin. I usually give him a doggy protein but I didn’t want to mix the two. So I just gave him the Solid Gold topper. And he actually bulked up a little. I am thrilled that because of a free program I was able to try Solid Gold out because I now know it works for these guys. Will continue to buy it in the future
My doggie likes it!
My 80lbs pit mix will eat just about anything, even the smelliest of fish snacks. Whatever my nose can't handle he seems to enjoy. This dark colored plasma topper can be a bit stinky, and that's really the only downside. According to the feeding directions my dog would get 10 tblsp per day, so I gave him 5 with breakfast and 5 with dinner to break it up. We went through the bag pretty quickly. After just a few days of incorporating the meal topper I noticed an increase in my dog's energy and more solid stools. I received this product as part of a 'free sample program'.
Tasty topper
I received this food topper as a free sample for my dogs to try. I’ve never used a topper on their food before, so I was interested to see how it would do. My two year old shepherd mix will eat my 7 year old dog’s poop if we give her cheap food, and my 7 year old dog won’t eat anything but cheap food. He’s a picky eater and won’t touch his food for a day or two if it’s not his usual. He seemed unsure about the topper at first, but from the second time I added it until it was gone he ate it right away. My younger girl loved it from start. I like the concept of it, and my dogs enjoyed it. I most likely wouldn’t buy it on a regular basis because I didn’t see any difference in them, and it’s a little on the pricey side for a small bag with big eaters.
Solid Gold for the Goldendoodle!
I received this product as part of a free sample program. In full disclosure my dog (Greyson) is only just over a year old and has never tried any other meal toppers, so he doesn't have much to compare this too. That being said, he LOVES it! He is always excited for dinner time but he has a special interest in this bag. I don't know that I can say that I've seen a difference from before he had it, but I don't know that you really would be able to tell anything? It certainly hasn't made him sick which is usually a big concern for letting your dog try something new. He really seems to enjoy it and I like that it's grain and gluten free. I also really like the idea that it can provide him additional nutrients and amino acids. Also worth noting, Greyson is kind of a picky eater. He's not a garbage disposal like other dogs I've had, I've had him turn his nose up at a few things. This meal topper isn't one of them though, he clearly likes it. So if Greyson likes it, I like it!
Meal toppers
We received this in a sample program and we’re pleasantly surprised. We have 2 dogs both under 7 lbs - one who is allergic to chicken so wasn’t able to try this, but the second who is older, somewhat picky and needs the smaller kibble. The pieces are larger than what we usually feed her so I was hesitant, but our pup loved it and would eat her entire meal ( usually she just picks at it throughout the day) . As for it’s recommended benefits, I can’t say for certain that I have seen any changes. But I will continue to give her until the bag is finished and see if there are.
