Transition Instructions

Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold over the next 5 to 7 days until your dog is eating Solid Gold exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.

    happy tummies!

By Kearstin on Aug 16, 2021

I have a 5yo Doberman who is prone to dandruff and bad GI issues and a 1yo German Shepherd who was on a hydrolyzed diet for GI issues and skin issues but I just went through a divorce and my budget can’t afford $105 every 3 weeks right now. BUT this food is working amazing for the both of them!! Even my shepherd! He hasn’t had a single stomach issue, a little more gas than before but neither have the puking or diarrhea, bloating or food refusal. Skin issues have reduced. I’m very happy with this food. And they both LOVE it!

    good food for sensitive stomachs

By Angie on Aug 25, 2021

I have an Aussie who has GI issues. She’s been on all sorts of diets including a hydrolyzed diet. So far, this food is really working for her. She likes it, too! Knocked off a star since this is only offered in a 24 lb bag, and the bag isn’t resealable.

    Love Solid Gold!

By Addilynn on Jul 20, 2021

Solid gold has been our go-to food for about a year now, she’s been on the Wolf Cub formula since she was 7-8 weeks. We just recently switched to this new formula since she isn’t a puppy anymore. It sits well with her stomach and i’ve never had any issues. Love the brand and ingredients. I recommend solid gold to anyone who can feed it!
