Give your pooch a super-treat with the Solid Gold Superfoods Pork, Pineapple & Thyme Recipe Small Breed Chewy Grain-Free Dog Treats. Made with protein-packed pork as the first ingredient and loaded with refreshing pineapple and savory thyme, these bite-sized clusters of tropical tastiness are perfect during training or as a snack. To round out the wholesome, grain-free recipe, they also have fiber-rich lentils, flaxseeds, pumpkin and kelp for a boost of goodness in every nibble. One treat 13 calories = 18% daily calories for a 9 lb senior dog!

Okay. I know its my fault for not checking, but never did expect this treat, which is the size of a very small pea to be 13 calories. So if your dog is a senior and not as active as they once were do not use this as a training treat. I expected this was your average 3 calorie treat and was giving them to my dog 3-4 times a day. My dog gained so much weight. I was cutting her food back and couldn't figure out what it could be until I checked these. She went from 10 lbs 11 1/2 pounds in less than a year. The weight gain impacted her joints and her back and resulted in a back injury; which slowed her down further and now she is in canine rehab to strengthen her back and get the weight off. So, if you have a 20 pound active pup you are training these treats will be great for you, but if you have toy dog whose caloric intake will be under 275 calories a day then be prepared to offset dramatically during mealtime or you will have yourself one fat dog. … more

    Picky eater

    By on

Our 7 year old Chiwawa is very very picky about what she eats, so I figured I'd give these treats a try and to our surprise Haze really liked them. As soon as she sees we're reaching for the bag we don't have tell her to sit because she's already sitting waiting for her treat. The best thing about the treats are that they are soft just the way our Haze likes them.

    Perfect training treats

Easy to use size and texture to use for training. She really is interested in them too! We like that it’s pork and not a ton of fillers

    not soft/chewy

    By on Top 250 Contributor

We found these to be pretty hard, not soft and chewy as described. One of our foster dogs will eat them, but our little dog (who we bought them for) does not like them because of the hard texture.

    ABSOLUTELY NOT!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I purchased this because I enjoy giving my furbaby and the apartment complex furbabies all natural treats. I thought that this would be a great addition I was totally wrong in purchasing this and sad to say I will never purchase this again.

    Too hard and tiny

    By on

Love the ingredients but turned out disappointed, it looked like meat ball in the picture; however, its very hard and tiny in person. My dogs are not interesting in this treat at all !
