    NOT recommended!

    By on

I purchased 2 containers of these for 2 cats. My one cat would not eat them at all and my other cat began losing her fur in clumps after eating them for a few days. I stopped feeding her the supplements, as it was the only change made, and her fur stopped coming out within a day. I am a big fan of Chewy.com and have discovered several wonderful products by searching the site. This is definitely not one of them.

    Good idea, bad execution

    By on

I was excited to get these for my 2 cats because I know pumpkin can help control appetite and help prevent hairball suffering, but unfortunately neither of them will eat them. And honestly, it's not that surprising given that cats are obligate carnivores but these treats have zero meat in them. Maybe a cat who isn't picky would enjoy these, but my cats say "Hard pass!" I'll donate these to a shelter.

"Really?!" So said my two purr-balls.

    By on

That's more or less the response I got from my fur-babies. They were adamant and refused go beyond a sniff. I got a look that said, "you MUST be kidding" followed by the all too familiar paw-shake which, as any cat owners knows, translates to an absolute refusal to even try something.

    Waste of my money

    By on

I have three cats that have been having hair balls. None of them would eat these Solid Gold Chews. They actually smell terrible. Not sure why they have this weird smell but cats are picky. I can’t imagine any cat eating these. I am totally unsatisfied with this product.

Was hoping this would help with hairballs, but like many others rating these, my cats won't eat them.

    Neutral rating on this chew.

    By on

I have 2 ragdoll cats over 3 1/2 years of age. One liked the chew who usually will eat anything. The other one wouldn't even try it but she is a finicky eater. I liked that there was pumpkin in these the reason I ordered them.

My 2 don't care for these.

    By on

I have 2 kitties, one who is very picky and the other one eats almost anything. Well, they both turn their noses up to this supplement. The one kitty will eat it only if he's real hungry and I don't feed him until after he eats the supplement. But he won't eat 2 in one day.

    Picky eater wouldn't eat it

    By on

Cat hated it. Even if we broke it up into his food, he just wouldn't eat his food. Apparently, he doesn't like pumpkin. Oh well, I tried.
