We love it! Highly recommend
By Bolin on Feb 17, 2021
I was nervous to add a supplement to our cat's diet since we've only had him for a few months and he's had a low enthusiasm about meal time. But as an indoor cat and somewhat picky eater, I want to make sure he has plenty of nutrients in his diet. We add this supplement to every meal (mixture of Merrick brand wet food and Solid Gold Let's Stay In Indoor Salmon recipe dry food) and he is very excited about meal time now. It's been two weeks but we've already noticed his long-hair coat is shinier and silkier than before. He also hasn't had any hairballs or mats since. The very reasonable price allowed me to try it out and now that I know he loves it, it's economical enough to keep in his diet on I was nervous to add a supplement to our cat's diet since we've only had him for a few months and he's had a low enthusiasm about meal time. Stop the itch
By SunneDaes on Feb 8, 2021
My 11 mth Golden Retriever lives to spend his days outside and with the barn animals. His Besty is a 34 yr old mini pony named Bugsy. They love to run thru the barn, snow, shavings and now muddy snow. He gets an itch afterwards and needs a bath. But still scratched. I started giving him the Sea Meal and it seems to do the trick.

Solid Gold Sea Kelp
By Kelp on Jan 21, 2021
I’ve been giving this to my dog and cat for about two weeks now. I see a difference in their coats for sure. Nice and shiny! They both eat it if it’s mixed into their wet food. The measuring scoop doesn’t have increments so just have to eyeball it which is fine for me. I’ll use this until it’s gone to get the full results then decide if I want to keep using it or not. It’s kind of messy as it doesn’t fully dissolve or mix in fully and clings to bowls. They’re not eating the full amount as it’s stuck to their food dishes.

pawfect supplement

I have been feeding this supplement to both my rescue dogs for years now, and they like it in their food. I feed them a raw diet and I can tell when they are on this supplement because their fur and skin are noticeably healthier, and when people used to go out we would get plenty of compliments. This is the sort of product you want to build up over time so results are not necessarily immediate but when you don’t keep it up the decline in coat is the first thing I notice. It’s worth the money. No issues so far! My dogs have only improved in health! I have recommended this specific product to friends although solid gold is a great brand in general. I try to always keep this product in my refrigerator (yes refrigerate after opening and always clean excess out of their food bowls)! I know this supplement helps my dogs a lot. … more

Superfood Indeed!
By Gizmo on Jan 14, 2021
Won't be going without this in my furry felines' diet ever again. After just a few days of being on this (they eat it without fuss and I just sprinkle it onto their dry and mix it into their wet), the fur of my cats is glossy, shiny, and incredibly soft! And one of my cats has skin issues and she will lick her fur off of her wrists and ankles but her fur is already growing in. Another month of this stuff and she will have it all back, I don't doubt it. Thank you for such a wonderful product! My cats lives will be much, much better thanks to you.

Immune (?) Supplement
By CatDad32 on Dec 27, 2020
Got this after the vet recommended Purina fortiflora for my cats after Mac n Cheese got a yeasty ear infection (ew). I hate Purina, but I wouldve brought the fortiflora but didnt have $30 to shell out on it, so I tried this instead after seeing good reviews. So far I can't tell exactly what's happening, but Kitty's coat is much softer and less clumpy, so it's definitely doing something. And the cats seem to have no issues with the taste!

Cats and dog
By Richie on Feb 1, 2021
Sorry but 4 out of our 6 cat walk away from there food even if I use less to trick them into eating it. The dog eats it but I add it into his home cooked food we make him and I use less so he doesn’t tast it.

Solid gold
By AmyR on Dec 21, 2020
Should have fish at the end of that name....cause that’s what everything smells like after my dogs finally said enough already! We’re on strike! They ate it once and after that only ate when they were starving. The fish stuff was always left in their bowls and their water dishes, smelled like a filthy aquarium and I don’t see the slightest difference in any of them.

Works for immune, digestive, and coat!
By Kouri on Nov 15, 2020
As of right now my kitten is almost 6 months old, and I've been feeding this to her for about 2 weeks. Ever since she was a baby, she always suffered from sniffles and lots of sneezing from upper respiratory infection; she'd get better, but then get sick again, then get better and get sick again. I didn't want to keep feeding her medicine anymore because of how prolonged her symptoms were. Well, after two weeks of using this as a supplement, I can definitely say that she has a lot less sniffles now! A lot less sneezes too. I can tell she's growing more fur now because she has white roots and black ends, and recently there have been *a lot* more stray white furs coming out of her (they turn As of right now my kitten is almost 6 months old, and I've been feeding this to her for about 2 weeks. Her coat is softer as well. Lastly, she also had a good amount of really stinky gas and poops, but now, she has little to no gas, and her business isn't as smelly anymore! Definitely recommend for the entire digestive, immune, and skin/coat spectrum. … more

Honestly don't know if it's a coincidence or miracle
By Pettrainer on Dec 4, 2020
My dog has a sensitive stomach and any change to diet no matter how small gives her diarrhea. While transitioning to her new food she had it for 4 straight days, her doctor recommended using Purina Fortiflora but that didn't solidify her stool at all. After her first meal with Solid Golds Seameal all of her stools are soft but formed and she hasn't had diarrhea since we started giving her this with her prescription diet
