My kittens love it
By Michelle on Jan 28, 2021
We switched our kittens from Blue buffalo to this and our kittens love it! Our adults eat solid gold also so it was only natural that the kittens got it too. They are 5.5 months old.

Formula is not good enough, bad taste
By Kate on Nov 21, 2020
This food is not nourishing enough from my point of view. It doesn't contain a high protein and has a high carbohydrate, which has no use for kitten's growth. Also, my kitten doesn't like the taste at all. It smells like potato, I assume there is not so much meat in it.

Kittens love it
By Clark on Dec 14, 2020
Both kittens love this food and I am happy with its nutritional value. A little on the spendy side, but I will happily pay the extra money for good value and this qualifies.

My kittens love it!
By OMDM on Jul 22, 2019
I was worried about my two kittens adjusting to dry food, but they had no issues once I introduced this. Even my adult cat likes this food more than her Solid Gold indoor formula. Only negative is the food to weight ratio. No six week old kitten weighs four pounds, so of course talk to your vet about your kitten’s specific caloric needs.

Solid Gold Kitten Dry Food
By Oliver on Jun 17, 2019
I was loyal to Wellness brand food for my babies until very recently when I discovered they test on animals. It began the hunt of finding a new cruelty-free pet food (seems silly even saying that, you'd think companies that claim to care so much about animals... Not getting into it, moving on!) I found Solid Gold through an online list of pet food brands that are cruelty-free. My kitten likes the dry food just fine, she prefers the pate but I think that's pretty normal, the dry food is really only a back up for when I have to go to work (I work 24 hour shifts) or when I accidentally run out of the pate. The price is a little bit cheaper than Wellness, so market comparable for a higher end I was loyal to Wellness brand food for my babies until very recently when I discovered they test on animals. Wasn’t for my boy
By Jessica on May 20, 2019
My cat refused to eat this food. I don’t know if that makes this stuff bad it might just be my cat’s picky preference but I ended up having to give it away to my mom to feed her stray neighborhood cats. I think the product seems pretty great I did a lot of research before buying and I felt it was the best quality for the price. Again my cat hated it and he doesn’t talk to me to tell me specifically why! Lol

7 week Old Kitten
By Raven on May 29, 2019
Loves it! And I love that it's super healthy and gives him the proper nutrition that he needs! He gets it dry but I'll also put KMR kitten milk in with it and put it in the microwave for 5 seconds. It makes it soft and he loves it!

My cat loves it
By Hawk on Jun 23, 2019
My cat has just started on this food. He loves it!! It does not have dust or crumbles. However I don’t like the smell of it. If it does well with my cat I will keep buying.

Would not recommend
By Casper6771 on Jan 9, 2019
I would not recommend this. I chose this based on other reviews, however, my kittens do not like it at all. They barely eat it and when they do it makes them throw up horribly.
