Dry

My cat really wants to like this, but it is ungodly dry. It's so dry he had a hard time chewing and swallowing it. It really needs more moisture especially the turkey shreds. I'm not positive if I got an off batch or not but it was rather disappointing as the flavor was on point for my baby. To make it more creamy and edible I added a pouch of pureed pumpkin. Made it easier for him to eat.

Total Rejection

Adding to the chorus - my cat won't eat this. She is usually not a picky eater, but after one half-hearted attempt where she ate maybe 1/6th of the top pate layer, she will do a hunger strike rather than eat this food. I've tried mixing it up, leaving it in the container, serving it out of the container... she just won't touch it. Also seconding the other reviewer who mentions that the shreds are all dried out to the point of seeming crunchy, which I wasn't expecting at all - not sure how dried out meat is supposed to be appetizing for the cats!

MY CAT LOVES IT!

My friends cats wouldn't eat it, so she gave it to me to try with my cat. She LOVES it!!! I feel like I'm giving her a Thanksgiving dinner, every time I give her some. I've never seen her be so excited about food.. try it! It looks like cats either don't like it or LOVE IT!

No Takers for Solid Gold

I have 4 cats and none will eat this food. They won’t even try it. I tried mashing it, mixing it, adding moisture to it and the cats would not even try it. I was hoping because of the Mousse consistency that it would be a hit but they refuse it. My boy cat who will eat anything won’t even try it from my finger, so I’m not sure where they missed the mark on this one but we won’t be buying it again.

The cat refused to eat it

I know my cat is finicky, but this one topped the charts with his disapproval. The shredded layer was dried out, so I had to scrape that off. Even afterwards, he would not touch it. Hopefully my friend's less choosy cat will enjoy it.

These are dried out and cats won't eat

These are totally dried out, and the expiration date is well into the future. I don't know if it's a matter of the food itself or how they were stored at the warehouse but we even tried adding water and our cats turned up their noses and walked away. We won't be ordering this one again.

He hated it

Smelled it and wouldn’t even lick it. Upside down, right side up, or mashed together, he refused.
