    Loved by 3 Cats

By Binky on Aug 19, 2020

I give these to my cats as treats. They beg me for it. I like to give half to my skinniest cat and then quarters to the other two. I mix it up and they swallow it up. Does not have a foul order like most cat foods no mess to clean up because they lick their bowls.

    My cat wasn't too fond

By trish on Sep 16, 2020

My 12yr old cat wasn't too fond of this . She liked the pumpkin layer but did not like the dry flakes which I guess was salmon or the bottom brown layer.

Not a mousse - very dry

    By on

Both my cats did not like it at all. The salmon is dried out and crumbly. The other two layers had no moisture. Not at all a 'wet' cat food.

Cat loved it, I thought it was odd

    By on

Grabbed my SG canned And added 1 triple layer salmon/pumpkin to try. I forgot what to expect when I opened it. I thought eek it’s dry, after figuring it what I just opened, (still odd textures) my picky cat loves it. So much so he turned his nose up on his regular favorite canned food. I Guess I have to buy more because it’s all about what he wants and like.

For cats who don't like wet food

    By on

My cat refuses to eat wet food of any texture. He has some GI issues so every once in a while needs a little extra something with his supplement. I prefer for cat owners to feed dry foods for dental and GI health of their cat but some do need wet food. I found this solid gold triple layer and gave it a try. My cat loves it. I warmed it in the microwave for a few seconds and gave it to him. He finished the whole meal and meowed for more. Finally, a wet food that he likes because it doesn't make his whiskers sticky and I like it because it doesn't give him bad breath. A little pricey though but it's okay because he only gets 1 serving once a week.

Opened this up and it seemed dry. My 3 cats looked at it , smelled it and walked away.

Hard, dry. Cat wouldn't eat it.

    By on

The description is inaccurate. There is no "mousse." the top layers are hard and mostly dry. The bottom layer is crumbly and dry. My cat took one lick, but it was like licking plastic. Didn't even leave a mark on the food. I cut it up -- because it's so dry, it can easily be cut into cubes. Encouraged him to try again, but he sniffed it once and then began crying for food. Clearly didn't think the weird blocks were food. Not sure whether to donate the rest of the containers to a shelter or just throw them out.
