Can be folded flat for convenient storage or transport.
The sturdy construction and rich walnut finish fits beautifully with almost every home decor.
Safety side rails are built into the design so your pet can climb up and down with confidence.
Both sizes have been tested to support over 200 pounds.
Promptly wipe up any foreign matter or liquid with a damp cloth or sponge.
The stairs require no assembly. The back legs are held in the open position by means of a wood locking brace, located under the top step. Swing the back leg away from the main stair section until the locking brace falls into position. When the brace is in the locked position, the edge of the brace will overlap the top edge of the leg (see nearby image). Test to make sure the locking brace is in position by attempting to fold the legs back to the main stair section: if they cannot be closed, the brace is correctly positioned. Now place the stairs in the desired location next to a couch, bed, etc. To fold the rear leg section for storage or transport, simply reach under the top step and press up on the wood locking brace to disengage it from the rear leg section.
These stairs are a little bit pricier than other stairs, but they are well worth the additional cost. I originally bought stairs that were 1/3 of the price, but they were so flimsy and the carpeted section on each step was so small that my dog was terrified of them (I have a 7 lb. Pomeranian). These stairs are infinitely more elegant than those other plastic stairs and look much better in our living room. They are also so much sturdier! They never slide or move when my dog is on them and the fact that each entire step is carpeted makes my dog feel very secure as she climbs them. It did take about a week and a half of training for our dog for her to get fully comfortable climbing the stairs. (We bought the Large size.) The only con that I would say with these stairs is that even when folded, they don't fit under our couch. However, because they fold, they are still easy to store in a hallway closet, etc.… more
Not too sturdy

I bought this to help my German Shepherd get up and down from my fairly high bed. I liked the style and the fact it appeared to me made from wood. However, it's not very sturdy and arrived with a splintered stair riser, which is made from press board. My dog tried it once, and since it doesn't have non slip bottom, it moved quite a bit on the wood floor. I'm going to search out some nonskid pieces to put on the bottom before we try it again. It is better looking than the plastic ones I've seen, but not convinced it's worth the price.
Steps for the bedroom

These steps are great quality - a nice wood and fold for under bed storage. Steps have carpet strips so Bella doesn't slip on them. I age them 4 stars only because the steps are a bit narrow - Bella does fine with them if she is running and goes up them. She stalls on them if just walking up to them - I just help her up..ha ha.
Not a good as I hoped

The questions and reviews indicated that the extra large needed 6.9 inches of clearance when folded up. My bed has just over 7 inches of clearance (measured) and this item does not fit!
Also, I bought this because dog has a back issue and is not supposed to jump downward. These stairs are a little steep, so my dog uses them to go up, but not down. This has made him jump downward more often than before we bought this item.
Looks good but not a great quality

These stairs do what I want - make it easier for my little Havanese to get up on the bed. I had to work with them to get them to feel comfortable using them. But it took just a few times and they are up and down now.
But, these are not a fine piece of furniture. They look better than the quality. They work fine, just be aware they are fairly cheaply made. If you want fine furniture quality, keep on looking.
Well SHE’S happy!

My George loves it. Took to it right away and is using it regularly. Sturdy and ready to go right out of the box. Height was good for my very high bed and I’m no longer worried about tough impact on her joints from jumping off of it. I, on the other hand, miss getting woken up by my alarm. Never thought I’d say that.

I've purchased a set of these stairs for each of my two bedrooms. I have antique beds that are too high for my dogs to jump onto. They're working beautifully and the dogs enjoy being able to run up and down. My largest dog is a 75 pound Bassett Hound and the smallest is a 10 pound Dachshund. The steps are sturdy and well built and do not slide around on my hardwood floors.
New Pup stairs

I bought the stairs for my aging Westie/Chihuahua. They are built really well, strong and very sturdy. During the day they look beautiful in my home and are usable. My only crit is at night they are completely invisible. I am going to buy some lightly colored stair treads to glue down on steps because dark brown on brown does not work. I use a night light but they are still too dark.

Steps work well for Gracie Belle to get up on the bed as it is at awkward angle for a running jump. A suggestion would be a glow in the dark material be added to the steps, they are hard to see in a dark room.

These stairs came and no assembly required. Works fabulously! Did not take our hound long to take to the states and help herself to our bed! She’s happy and so are we. Thanks for a great it, Chewy
