Love these eye catching anenomes! They really stand out in the tank day and night and catch your attention right off. I use acentic white light for daytime and acentic blue light for evening and nite time viewing. People complained about the smell. Before zI put them in the tank I soak them in a half vinegar, water solution for several hours. Then I rinse and soak in a baking soda/water solution over night, then I soak them in some of the tank water I'm moving it to. That's how I got rid of the chemical smell on it. I Have bought 4 of these and I will say the strength of the smell on these vary alot from overwhelming to barely noticed. Some people also mentioned white snow like stuff being dispursedLove these eye catching anenomes! They really stand out in the tank day and night and catch your attention right off. Some people also mentioned white snow like stuff being dispursed off of them when trying to move them in the tank. That happened to me with one of these after about 3 weeks. The trick I believe to avoid this is to remove them and rinse every week when you do your water change .Just dont wait 2 or 3 weeks like I did initially. But who is to say this same anenome will keep releasing that white snow looking stuff everytime. I have 3 of these in a salt water tank. I just put one in a fresh water tank so I'm curious to see if this happens in the fresh tank. I'd also like to say out of the 3 that I put in the saltwater tank only one of these released that white snow looking stuff. It's possible that is because I didn't prep/ soak this prior to putting in the tank. You don't EVER want to put anything into your tank directly upon receiving before throughly washing / rinsing it in warm water with vinegar or baking soda. Never use soap!… more

I purchased the yellow anemone and it is fantastic - it stands about 6-7 inches high and wide (spreads wider than the picture). It waves in the current and looks just like a real anemone. It "glows" under blue/black light, and the tips are florescent in the dark (tips glow with no light). It really stands out, however, so I partially hid mine behind my tree ornament. I love it!

I have always wanted a salt water aquarium so I could have anemones. Have 5 freshwater tanks. Came upon these sporm items. Purchased 4 to try them out. Work great. Also able to purchase coral film for back of aquarium. Back today to look for more Sporn anemones. Shipping was great and timely.
Thanks so much for your reasonable prices
Terrible Odor In Aquarium!
on Jun 25, 2018
Pretty, flows nicely in the water, but has left my water smelling horrible! So bad you can smell it from across the room. Cleaned yellow sporn several times but still unable to get rid of the stench! I do not recommend this product unless you don't mind the stink.

I’m very happy with them, started with three, now have 7, my Tomato clown host one, My perculas hang out in two I have clumped together, and my Saddle Back clowns hang out in the yellow ones. They snails and hermit crabs are always playing in them, much to the clowns dismay! Been using them for 5-6months, got some fading when I lay them in sun to bake the the built up algae off of them but still looks awesome. But even after cleaning the clowns jump right back in them, as if they missed them while they were gone for a day to clean!
Larger than I thought

For my 1 gallon beta fish filtered tank, this was a lot larger than I thought it would be. My beta didn't seem to mind at all and it was very pretty. The tips did glow in the dark at night which was neat to see. My tank ended up getting algae and it somehow immersed itself into the material of the decoration, thus I had to throw it out because I wasn't able to even scrub or dry the algae out of it.
Put off a white flaky substance
on Jun 3, 2018
These are really pretty and fish love to hide in them. However, after having them in the tank for about a month, they got a white filmy flaky substance all over them and when I was taking them out to clean this stuff flaked all over my tank. It all washed off under running water, but left a plastic smell in the water of my tank. Not sure if this filmy stuff will return or not on the ornament.
Looked great at first...

Bought two of the pink and two yellow. They looked great the first few weeks now the pink ones are all crusty white looking. They look horrible and will have to toss them out. The yellow are newer and will be watching them as they appear to be changing too.
Fish tank decor

I was impressed with the transformation of the tank with this particular piece(s) added, and love the softness for the fish safety knowing they have safe hiding space. The movement with the water flow adds to the question of real or fake too.
