I love my dog food. It’s crunchy and tasty and i eat it three time a day. I started on the puppy one and now I happily chow down the adult one. it’s good stuff! The lady who brought me into the world recommended it to my folks and they order on auto ship now so we never run out.

Cane Corso pup

I switched over to this food a month ago and have loved the results so far! He was eating Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach for a while until he stopped eating the food. His fur turned very dry, was itching like crazy, loose stools, and did not enjoy his food anymore. This food has his fur feeling plush-like again, stools are the most solid I have ever seen them since bringing him home from the breeder. He is very high energy and eats a lot. This food keeps weight on him well. He is currently 9 months old. I highly recommend this food for dogs that have sensitive stomachs and for owners that feel like they have tried everything to firm up their dog's stool!

Dogs Try to Eat This Right Out of the Bag!

Our 2 & 9-1/2 year old German Shepherds eat this formula & love it! We've been feeding this food for about a year now & are very pleased with the results. My dogs aren't itchy, or gassy. Their coats are glistening & their stools are perfect. I switched them over to this from Victor.

Not for us

Our dogs, Luke (Beagle) and Lela (Australian Cattle Dog mix), are both seven years old. They like this food fine, but Luke is having minor stomach issues with it, and it makes Lela gassy. Up to now, Lela has always been able (and happy) to eat anything with no problem. Luke is poultry-sensitive, and I'm picky about certain ingredients, so I was happy to find Sport Dog Food. They have a few recipes that meet our criteria, and the dogs have been fine on the others we've tried. This one, however, is no-go for us.

Working well for a dog with allergies

I switched to this dog food, buffalo protein, because my dog has seasonal skin allergies, and I wanted to try a protein she has never had. I also feed canned Rabbit. Its Been a year now. She still has spring allergies, but seems to be less. This is a High calorie kibble, i needed to adjust the serving size.

Sport Dog Dock Dog

I like the nutritional profile of this food. I was looking for a grain inclusive, high protein kibble that had no peas or legumes and something besides chicken. My pup loves it!

Jumping for joy when fed!

My Chinook dogs absolutely LOVE this food! I have not had to add something "special" to there food to get them to eat it. I recommend it to anyone who has a picky eater or wants to have a formula that's pea free. I have a breeding dog and she will be having puppies hopefully this year. I plan on using the Sportdog Cub formula with her and puppies.

Great pea & lentil free food

We had one of our dogs allergy tested and he was sensitive to lentils/legumes, corn, and venison. Plus the FDA warning about grain free dog food because of peas and lentils (not sure what’s developed with that now, we have been buying this food for months), so a lentil free food was the obvious choice to switch to. This one is great even though my one dog is not very active, he hasn’t gained any weight. I’m happy with these ingredients and my 2 picky and spoiled dogs will eat it. When dock dog is out of stock I buy herding dog, they’re very similar.

great food

We found this food while searching for a grain-inclusive, high quality food that would suit our new golden puppy and two diabetic senior dogs. A local golden breeder recommended this food for the rare superior ingredients/formulation. Our dogs are super happy (including one with chronic digestive issues). My only complaint is that it keeps going out of stock. I spoke to the company and they basically said the Cub and Dock are very similar so we had no trouble (changing food is quite tough for insulin shot regulation so we were worried). However, now both formulas are out of stock and despite Chewy and the company being great to work with, we had to get an off-the-shelf replacement. If this shortage continues we won't be able to stick with SportDog simply due to the insulin/digestive issues, but otherwise it is A+. One couch potato dog is getting a little plump though despite the "off season" feeding schedule so we need to figure that out. Overall, I did a TON of research and this is hands-down the winner.

Didn’t work well for my dogs

I was excited to try this food because I was looking for a high-quality food that wasn’t grain-free and did not contain peas or lentils. This is the second variety of this brand I have tried. One of my Dobermans likes it fine. The other has to be coaxed to eat it sometimes. It has made both dogs gassy and given them very soft stool that is hard to pick up, which really makes things more difficult when we take our daily walks. I wanted to love it, but I think I’m going to have to try something else. It just doesn’t seem to agree with them.
