  • Finally!!! This is a great nutritious food for dogs!

    By on

This is a very healthy food for dogs, however once I got my older mini Aussie switched over from his old food, he quit eating his food. Once all of his old food was out of the mix, he wasn't interested in his food anymore. He had what we thought was a food allergy and so he was on a limited ingredient lamb protein food. I thought this food may help with that, but it turns out he doesn't like it. I bought his old food and he is back to eating it like nothing happened. My puppy LOVES this food though. Too bad I just bought a bag of the puppy for her. This bag will be old by the time she gets through her bag! She will remain on the Sport Dog food.

  • Finally a PEA FREE product for my allergy dog! Really wish it was in stock!!!

Every Lab I have owned has had allergies. They have ALL tested positive for pea allergies. It is so hard to find a food that doesn’t have pea or pea protein. This food was recommended to me by Chewy customer service after Wellness changed their ingredients and added peas. Vinny loves it and does well on it. He actually ate the venison formula but it has been discontinued. Please get this one back in stock! ! Without it pets with allergies don’t really have an option for Pea Free. You can see how healthy the pups are when eating this food! Shiny coats!

  • This might be the one.....

Switched from Hi-tek naturals since I was tired of soft stools and gassy dogs. One thing I noticed about this food is that my bulldog's coat has done a compete 360. She used to constantly have loose hair and was shedding "regularly" according to the vet. Since feeding her this food loose hair is no more, shedding is at a minimal and she isnt gassy anymore. She eats this food when shes hungry but I've yet to find a dog that she'll eat regularly without getting bored of it. Oh and stools are ROCK SOLID!

  • Beef YES! Maintence NO!

I have switched my kennel (Golden, Doberman, Australian Shepherd) to this food and it has done wonders for them. I have a few older dogs and was worried they would get too fat on the regular Elite food so I put them on maintenance. They became ill and would throw up immediately after eating it. I thought perhaps it was something in their environment so put them on the bland diet until they could return to normal kibble. As soon as I put the maintenance in front of them the ones that did eat it got sick and some wouldn't touch it. I placed them on Elite with the rest of the dogs and they have gotten so much more energy from the food, them gaining weight hasn't been an issue! • Finally a food that seems to be working!

This has been great. I've spent 2 years trying to find a grain free food for my Boxer and everything I tried just wasn't cutting it - most of them resulted in mushy poops and/or 4-5 LARGE bowel movements everyday. Plus, I added a 2nd dog this summer so paying $60-$70 a bag for other high quality brands as I had been doing was going to become even MORE expensive, especially considering I wasn't getting great results so it wasn't really worth it. I'm now on my 2nd or 3rd bag of this SportDogFood and haven't really had any issues - coats still look great and both pups now have 2-3 small bowel movements each day. Haven't had any allergy issues and both dogs enjoy the food - although they're not the This has been great. • Food is Great but they Aren't Consistent

    By on

Started my subscription a month ago and now they tell me that they can't complete my new shipment. Why was the product even offered in subscription form if they could only complete one shipment? I'm thinking that I got the discounted price and now they don't want to continue providing it at the discounted rate. I love Victor dog food, but the distributors are practicing shadily.

  • Sport Dog Food Elite Beef Grain and Pea Free Dry Dog Food

    By on

My son and I eat as much organic food as possible so I started to look for the same quality in my dogs food. Organic food prices were outrageous until I found this one! It has high quality ingredients, is organic, 100% made in the USA and all at a price I can afford! I love the freeze drying method the company uses too. My dogs poop is smaller, less frequent and firm. No complaints!!

  • Excellent quality for the price

    By on

Really like this food. I was looking for something affordable yet good quality to feed my very active sport dogs. I had trouble keeping weight on my male malinois and I noticed a difference within a week of feeding this food. Nice weight coming on and my dogs coats are noticably cleaner and healthier. As well, my dogs seem to be performing better without quick exhaustion. Definitely recommend this food to others with active dogs.

  • Finally a food my dogs do good on

    By on

My dogs have been on this food for about 2 months and they love it and I love it. This is the first food my Doberman has not had loose stool on. Both my dogs look great. Gleaming coats, firm stool, and they are active and healthy. Another huge deal is neither one has dandruff even though it's winter. I've always had dandruff atleast in winter on previous foods. Can't say enough good things about this food.

  • Our boys are thriving

    By on

Have transitioned our two fussy dogs onto this food and they are both absolutely thriving, one who struggles to hold weight is holding it better than ever and the other with allergies hasn't had an issue since moving him onto it. So nice to have a dog that's not eternally itchy! 4 Stars simply because the 50lb bags never seem to be in stock :(
