  • Great for food allergy dogs

    By on

I have a dog that has food allergies. More specific, allergic to peas and carrots which seems to be in every high quality dog food. I was feeding Pioneer Naturals but it was temporarily out of stock and I was in a panic. Found this, did some research on it, ordered it from Chewy and got it the next day thankfully. I like that it seems to be a small privately owned company. Hopefully they won't sell out to a big company like Diamond. It's ingredients are similar to Pioneer Naturals, and even looks the same. So far so Good. I will probably stay with this food!

  • Great for sensitive and picky eaters

    By on

I found this food by mistake. I have three dogs a Great Dane (My picky eater.), A Lab/Hound cross (The I sniff it and scratch till I bleed and my fur falls off girl.), and my Australian Cattle Dog (Miss yum yum gimme more!). At one time I fed two separate foods to my dogs, due to the grain free was too expensive to feed to all three. Then one day I had asked my mom to order food for me. She looked at my bag and the label then ordered the wrong thing. When I received the Chewy box I opened it and I had never even heard of Sport food! I looked it up on Dog Food Adviser and found it was a five star food, so I decided that at least it was grain free and might not cause my Lab to have reaction I found this food by mistake. I had my doubts. I have been feeding Sport now for three months. My girls coats look wonderful, they have energy and are thriving. My old Dane even cleans her bowl! I begun to think it was impossible to find a single food that would meet the nutritional needs of my girls, satisfy them and cause no allergic reaction. I was wrong. I really like the Grain Free Sport. Please don't change the recipe! … more

  • Great Quality at a Great Price!

    By on

I love this food! 5 stars on DogFoodAdvisor. In addition to its high quality, it is loaded with Omega-3s and other vitamins great for active dogs. It's also great for camping and backpacking because you can feed your dog much less due to its caloric density! I recommend this to all dog owners, it checks all boxes!

  • Great food

    By on

After months and months of research, trying different foods and wanting to find a food that is 100% made & sourced in the USA, we finally found it! The customer service with SportDogFood is amazing as well - they answered any questions I had within a day, sometimes HOURS, of my emails. My dogs love it as well! I have a senior belgian shepherd mix, adult Collie, and puppy Old English Sheepdog - they all are doing well and eating it up quickly. And I also love that they don't need as much at a feeding thanks to the nutrient-denseness of the food, which helps stretch the bag out a little longer.

I use to feed elite beef but my dog kept getting yeast infections so I switched over to the chicken and she's so much better now.
