Amazing bed!
We got the extra large bed for our 130 lb dog and it is awesome!! You definitely need to let the bed sit somewhere for a couple days before putting the cover on and then it works great!!! My dogs and cats all love it. The cover around the memory foam is definitely waterproof, it's a very thick plasticy material. The cover is easy to remove and machine wash as well.
Moldy and a wad of rubber!
This bed came extremely vacuum sealed and never expanded. It also was moldy in the creases due to being vacuum sealed with potential moisture in the bed. Would not recommend this product!
They weren't kidding about the expansion issues
Like a lot of the other people who left a review, the bed never fully expanded from its vacuum sealed state. I gave it a few days before giving up on it and just putting the outer cover on just in case. The outer cover is really loose on it since it's not fully expanded but stays in place for the most part. I still gave four stars though because it expanded enough that my dog honestly doesn't care and probably doesn't notice and it's only bothering me. I love that it's got a waterproof cover, my dog likes to lay down on his bed after drinking water and his jowls will sometimes soak the outer cover, but the foam inside stays safe. It also helps because sometimes he has incontinence issues since he's getting older and it's so much easier to clean up just an outer cover than to have to wash the entire thing. It's squishy like you would expect from memory foam. As far as I can tell my dog likes it. He treats it the same as any other bed he's had, so I know he doesn't dislike it. If where to choose again, I'd probably look for a similar bed without the vacuum pack issues, if I couldn't find one like that I'd probably end up going with this one again. Tip: pulling the inner cover slightly away from the foam so it's not stuck to it seems to help with the expansion a little. Also walking on it or massaging it with your hands to seems to help too.

We where a little skeptical when we receive this mattress. How in the world will this tiny piece be as big as the mattress cover that was included?? We followed the instructions about the 24 hours wait as the direction said, that the mattress would be big enough. After this time it was still plenty of room in the cover. So I put the mattress on the floor an walk on it back and fourth, and it worked. The mattress fits perfect in the cover and our dog loves it!!
What Happend??
We recieved this bed about a week ago. It was vacuum packed and said allow 24-48hrs to get into shape. It is still all distorted and definitely not comfortable. Thankfully, Chewy understood and refunded our money. Guess we will try something else
Good mattress!
As always ordering and delivery we’re easy. I unpacked the mattress and laid it outside in the sun (we’ve had around 70 degrees here). After a couple of hours it was expanded. I “plucked” a little here and there to pull of the lining a little from the foam inside since it seemed to stick a bit. After a short while everything was perfect. Washed the covers (a little stiff) and put it on. A perfect fit. I chose a size large, btw. My Dee loves it!
PICKY DOG APPROVED
It did come sealed and floofed up my husky is a picky princess. I say this with love but ADORES this bed and gets miffed when I move it to new areas where I am not at. I also had water spilled on it a little bit and it dried out fast. I will be buying another when it goes back on sale!
Love it but hate it came vacuum sealed
I liked the dog bed. I got medium for my two chihuahuas. It is very soft and nice, the mattress is easy to clean due to waterproof materal around it. The only thing i disliked was that the matress was vacuum sealed. It took a very long time to re-inflate and even so it did not fully inflate. The mattress seems to be a bit uneven due to that. I would have given 5 stars if it wouldnt have been vaccum sealed.
Um can I get a coupon to buy like 6 more!?
I ordered 3 for my 3 dogs and I have gotten a medium and a large so far. I will say probably you should "order up" as they're not necessarily small but they do allow my dogs to hang over the edge (35# pitbull uses the medium and a 55# GSD uses the large, as well as 45# husky is getting the large too!)....... but wow! The texture of the beds themselves feels like the toddler beds you can get so I'm confident these will resist the stink! My shepherd likes to swim and my pitbull has blue/white pitbull skin: she is a YEASTY beasty! I wish I could get a coupon from chewy to get these for our clinic (New Hope Animal Hospital in Dallas, GA!) - we use thick quilts to wake animals up from surgery, but these being waterproof would be so much nicer, and the foam would be better for the little old folks who could use extra padding... our floors are concrete in the kennel, and we got other beds that are not waterproof... and were ruined =( ....... I am in love with these and if vet techs made any money I would buy 6 large ones for the kennels and a bunch of medium ones for the steel cages because heck, why not?! As wonderful as they are! Highly recommended. I can't wait to get my 3rd one!!!

This bed came vacuum packed and I would say looks untrue to description online as far as photos/the medium would fit a small dog / so I’m sure the large would fit my medium sized gsp.. it’s been 24 hours and it was vacuum sealed so tightly that it’s a crumpled mess.. it isn’t even in the shape to lay on bc of the vacuum seal !!!! If it doesn’t pan(open up into actual bed) out I’m returning items
