My dog would rather chew on the top where the plastic is softer then chase the toy that's harder. Not a good idea if you have a dog like mine that apparently likes to chew plastic. He didn't swallow it and I'm glad he spit it out. By the way I didn't not let him chew on this like a chew toy I immediately took it away.
I have had many of these over time. some are a hard plastic and some are soft. This one is soft. my dog destroyed the top in 5 minutes. Just know once you are done playing with the dog, take it away.
We have 2 GSP puppies. It didn’t last two hours when we had them out for them. They chewed it up.
Sadly, my son and I were disappointed that this product didn’t hold up to his 7 month old Golden Retriever who is quite a chewer. It just wasn’t sturdy enough for training.
Very thick and solid toy for retrieving. Not a chew toy because pup will remove the plug thingy. We were able to put it back fortunately. Maybe should be lower profile for them not to be able to get it out. Over all this toy dummy will be perfect for our use.
Rugged and takes punishment well. Cleans off very easily and it’s easy for my dog to carry it correctly.
These are very strong, durable bumpers. The jumbos are quite large and I use them as my "goose" bumpers for my retriever. I just wish the came with ropes already attached.
Ive been training retrievers for many years. This is a durable product and well worth the price.
The Dummy survived being tugged and pulled between three dogs all weekend at the lake. These aren't chew toys though, and so need to be out of reach when not being supervised.
