Feeding Instructions

Food intake will vary with breed, stage of life, activity, body weight, condition and temperature. CanineX may be fed dry, or moistened with water to your dog's preference. Use 4 parts CanineX with 1 part water. Use the feeding guidelines and split the total daily amount into two equal meals. Feed to reach good body condition. For your pet's best health, see your veterinarian regularly. Provide fresh water in a clean bowl daily.

Transition Instructions

On days 1 & 2 of the change, you should have plenty of your pet's old food left. Fill the bowl with 3 quarters of the old food, and one quarter of CanineX. On days 3 & 4, add in another quarter, so you have half old food, half CanineX. On days 5 & 6, mix one quarter old food and 3 quarters CanineX. In only 7 days, your pet will be on an all-new diet of CanineX.

Where is SPORTMiX made? Are there any ingredients from China?

SPORTMIX sources all ingredients from US suppliers if ingredients are available, grown or produced in the US. The lamb meal comes from Australia or New Zealand and the flaxseed comes from Canada. The vitamin premixes are formulated, sourced and blended in the United States by a US company in a human grade facility. Certain subparts of the vitamin premixes are only available overseas but rest assure their US supplier makes every effort to source from reputable non-Chinese vendors.

Seemed good but Pups don't care for it

Had high hopes for this food. I like to get my babies the best food that I can (healthy). It smells strong (vitamin like smell). My girl (great pyr) can eat anything but won't eat this and out male (BTcoonhound) won't go near it at all. I donated it to a shelter since I had a large bag and no need for it. Sorry SportMix, my kids don't like you.

After switching food from blue wildlife to canine x beef my dog mai has the runs and it’s slimy, yes I can see a difference in her body n she looks meaner n tougher n has a lot of energy but if you don’t want a outside dog 100% of the time I wouldn’t get buy it. Cuz my dog can’t hold it n yes she been trained to go outside to poop but she can’t hold it.

My Malinois/Dane mixed hated this food. Also her stool was loose and light in color. She’s not super picky either. Seems to have caused some stomach discomfort as well

Great Quality

I've never used this brand before, but after ended up with a Fila Brasilia (Brazilian Mastiff). Which at six months weighting 80lbs needed to bulk him up for quick growing body. And with better quality ingredients he didn't require a bunch of food. I've found my new go to food for large breed dogs.
