*Measured in Dry per Day. We suggest dividing the daily amount into 2 servings. Your indvidual dog’s needs will vary with age and activity. For puppies serve up to 50% more than the amounts listed. For pregnant or nursing dogs you may feed up to 2 - 3 times listed amounts. For dogs over 100 lbs please add 1/4 cup for every 10 lbs over 100 lbs. Food that has been rehydrated, but not fed, may be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
To Mix: Add 1.5 parts warm water to 1 part dry food. Stir and rehydrate 2 - 3 minutes, then serve!
As with starting any new diet, you should introduce our food to your pet gradually, over a period of five to ten days depending on your dog’s specific needs and sensitivity. This is especially true for dog’s making the change from a processed diet of kibble or canned food. If you are currently feeding your dog a raw or home cooked diet, you may be able to transition your dog more quickly, over a period of two to four meals.
We suggest starting by adding a small amount of Spot Farms Dehydrated (after mixing with water) to your dog’s current food, and then gradually increasing the amount of Spot Farms Dehydrated while decreasing the amount of your dog’s current food each day. Transitioning your pet in this way will give your pup’s digestive system time to become accustomed to their new diet.

saved our family from being knocked out!
By HannahW on Nov 29, 2019
Our dog Sacha, lovingly referred to as ‘beans’ had HORRIBLE gas. We tried a slew of new diets before our vet suggested it could be the format of the food. She could haven been taking in too much air when she ate so we tried dehydrated food from the vet which was fine at first but led to vomiting because of an allergy to one of the additives so we wanted to go as natural as possible and ended with spot farms. While beansy still has gas, it’s no where near as bad as it was. Our friends don’t leave early anymore.

Healthy, USA Produced, Convenient for Traveling
By Champagnetaste on Oct 9, 2019
After much research and going through the agonizing decision to put a 6-year old rescue to sleep due to major health issues caused by poor nutrition before we adopted him, we were determined to give our new puppy a nutritional powerhouse while supporting a small USA company. He is now 1 1/2 yrs. old and has only eaten Spot Farms grain free chicken recipe. It isn't stocked in the big box pet food stores, but we had a prior relationship with Chewy and were thrilled to be able to put it on Autoship. We travel on the road with our pooch and this takes up almost no room in our vehicle or luggage and can be easily rehydrated in a hotel room. If we board him, we use the sandwich size zip lock bags to After much research and going through the agonizing decision to put a 6-year old rescue to sleep due to major health issues caused by poor nutrition before we adopted him, we were determined to give our new puppy a nutritional powerhouse while supporting a small USA company. We travel on the road with our pooch and this takes up almost no room in our vehicle or luggage and can be easily rehydrated in a hotel room. If we board him, we use the sandwich size zip lock bags to measure out the breakfast and dinner portions labeled for the boarding facility for each day he is there. He isn't a big water drinker, so we know he is getting fluids from his rehydrated food. The only drawback is since he is a Schnauzer, we clean his "beard" after each meal. Thanks to Spot Farms for caring about pets enough to go up against the bigger well financed "honest" companies. … more

Dog loves this!
By Pattie on Oct 30, 2019
My dog's coat was dull and flakey. She was 8 years old and her energy was lacking. I got this dehydrated food and am surprised at the difference. I mix it with a can of wet food in am, she loves it. Her coat is so shiney. Those flakes are gone. She has more energy. Am glad I tried this! Went thru different types and brands of dog food and this has made a real difference. Dogs in the wild did not eat grain. Thank you!

Love this product
By Fritz on Sep 9, 2019
Since putting Fritz on this dog food he is doing so much better, all the other dog food would give him really bad diarrhea which would cause him to lose weight. Since he’s been on spot farm the diarrhea has stopped and he’s gained 25#.

NO grain symptoms!
By mary on Aug 5, 2019
Sometimes grain free does get contaminated from processing and it shows up on both of my dogs. With this food there are no symptoms, sweet relief. Really really convenient and it smells great to me, and them. They love it! And it "comes out" exactly the same as with my totally homemade food. Other dehydrated brands increased the poo by 3 times as much, yikes! I'm pleasantly surprised. And happy.

My dog has never loved food as much as this!
By Darla on May 11, 2019
My great pyranese was so sick of eating dry kibble. I was shopping at a pet store one day and was intrigued by the Spot farms display. After looking it over I bought a box and was excited to have him try it! He weighs 150 lbs so we still supplement with dry food and Greek yogurt to fill him up. He waits impatiently morning and night for this bowl of food! He absolutely loves it! I don’t care what color it is, he doesn’t care about the consistency, he eats it any way we give it to him! Another huge benefit is that his poop has become so much firmer! Which I believe is a good sign of how good it is for him on the inside!! I highly recommend this food!!!

Didn’t agree with either doggo
By Valley on May 16, 2019
Really wanted to love this brand and product but after my babies have been using it for 3 weeks it just doesn’t agree with their tummies. I have a French Bulldog and a Yorkie, both of them are just sick from their bums. Lol. I hate that they aren’t feeling well and are getting up in the middle of the night to potty! My Frenchie almost did both potties in my bed last night before I decided to just go back to my tried and true THE HONEST KITCHEN.

Nastyfoods
By Barb on May 24, 2019
My dogs would not eat this. I have 6 dogs and not one would touch it and usually one or two eat the food. It is very messy to mix and the ratio is in correct. If you mix it the way they say you still have dry food, and it smells like cardboard.

Not a happy dog
By Babydoll5 on May 21, 2019
I bought this and the duck flavor at the same time. My dog refused to eat the duck so I didn't try the chicken right away. The chicken also comes out the texture of peanut butter. My dog barely sniffed at the chicken and refused to even try it.
