SpotOn Fence for Peace of Mind
“This collar has been such a relief to us! Our dog is a Plott Hound/Mountain Cur mix so she is a huge hunter. She goes where her nose takes her and that could be miles away. This collar has allowed us to set a boundary around our 30 acres so we can be rest assured she will not be led astray. She learned the boundaries very quickly. Now when she hears the tone she turns around. We are also able to take it to the lake and when we go camping. We can set up fence boundaries wherever we go and at the lake we can even set the fence out into the lake so she can swim! It is so easy, especially now with the ability to draw the fence on the map. Great improvement over the first generation collar and app. We could not imagine not having this collar. Well worth the cost for knowing she is protected but if her nose does get the best of her, we can easily track her. Thank you SpotOn for an awesome product and continually making it better!“

Aires hates being in any kind of contained area. He finds fences a blast to jump, and regularly jumps into my garden for the fun of jumping out. He's a bit of a showoff. Having the collar helps him to know his limitations while also giving him the freedom to run our whole property has been a dream. If you know anything about Malinois, they clack their teeth when they are excited. When he sees me reach for his collar, he sits, wiggling and clacking until its on. He knows he gets to run. It took him all of 45min to learn how the collar works. It took me longer to learn how to put in the fence parameters than for him to learn how to understand his limits. I can now let my boy out without worrying about him running into the road or on our neighbor's land.
Great Fence
This fence has been outstanding. It started off a little slow and I wasn't sure if it were going to work out but after some training and my dog growing into the collar so it fit properly it has been fantastic. When I first bought it Max was a 6 month old German Shepard and I ordered the large collar which was a little big. This is where I had the problem with him learning because the prongs for the static correction weren't tight enough to go through his fur and get a good contact. After he grew a little more it only took 3 times and he learned what the tones mean. He will still go to the very edge of where he is allowed but knows exactly where to stop. On the front of the house we have a fairly busy road but on the back is 3+ acres for him to run around on. Now that everything works correctly he loves it because we can just put his collar on and let him go. It is also nice that my wife and I can both use the app on each phone. We did sign up for the plan for 2 years because our back is heavily wooded and it tracs better and more accurate. If it were wide open probably wouldn't have signed up. I also like the fact that if we go to different placed I can draw or map out an area for him. We were between this and the Halo and this had better reviews for the accuracy and in wooded areas. It is more expensive up front but you don't have to get the subscription and really between this or a fence this was thousands cheaper than the fence for us. I do wish they would add a recall and training buttons through the app but supposedly they are working on it and it could be added though an update later. I spent weeks reviewing before I bought and this has been worth every penny. Just make sure you get the right size and in my case he had to grow into it.

This product has been great for my dog, Randall! It only took a week to get trained to the tones. We live on two acres so the ability to see his location on the app is absolutely amazing and super helpful.
