If you have a dog that you are new to training, and they don’t like LOUD noises, don’t get this one. There are quieter ones. Otherwise, it clicks. It’s a little hard to click but it works still.
works like a charm

I like how it sits in hour hands pretty well and the sound it makes is very sharp and to the point and that is something to long or in a good clicker. Also it’s not too loud which makes good for close training.

The clicker arrived quickly. The price point was a factor as i cant see spending a lot on a small item. Nicely made. Clicks with ease. Havent started using for full on training yet, but she responded well to the sit get a treat practice the packaging suggests. I was actually pretty excited to see it had some instructions and links for videos. Awesome resource for someone who never did training and feels a little clueless about the process.
Our 5 yr old pit mix is a rescue who needs some touch up training. She is overall well behaved but finer points need brushing up due to her being in a shelter for over 6 mo plus an abusive history.

It’s a good size. The clicking is perfect. Loud and clear. I also love that you have the option to hook it to your keychain/lanyard etc
Loud and Clear

Plain and simple, no one should have issues with theirs unless it came broken or they don’t know how to use it (: Mine is loud and crisp sounding, my dog gets it!
Not really working the way I had hoped.......

My youngest pup thinks it's a toy and my oldest one doesn't pay attention to it, good idea though. Maybe if I had it when they were all younger it would have worked fine.

The clicker's what, four bucks? So beyond worth it. We've owned adult dogs before and are raising our first puppy, and after just a couple of weeks of using this he already knows sit, stay, and (sort of) knows to come when called.
Just say a command like "sit," wait until he does (this might take a while at first -- I had to gently push his butt down), and click and give him a treat. Keep doing that every time you train him, he starts to associate the click with something good, and you can start giving a treat every other time and then less.
We're also using it for housetraining! Click and treat when he goes outside, nothing when he goes inside. Easy peasy. Totally recommend.
Clicker gets it done

This is the first time using a clicker. We were worried this clicker wouldn’t be loud enough because of the plastic, but it’s perfectly loud and easy to hold. Also, the colors make the clicker surprisingly easy to find in a hurry. Would recommend!
Not for cats

I was following Jackson Galaxy's recommendation to use a clicker to help train my kitty cat (we have issues with the door). This clicker is far too loud for kitty ears - it hurts and frightens him. On a side note, he now associates the clicker with the door and is very hesitant to go near the door. So in a way, it worked.
Best clicker for training

We have a 5 year old forever puppy who needs a little extra training almost all the time. We use our commands and if he does not listen we click and say the command again. He is very responsive. I recommend this clicker for any age dog.
